  • S2. Ep 36. The one about covid positivity and what older people do that's annoying.

This week Claire and Lisa discuss things about lockdown that aren't all doom and gloom. They also discuss new beauty wonder bakuchiol, Claire's loving The Boys on Amazon Prime and Lisa's been bingeing Billy Piper's new show. Also, Holly Wainwright has a new book, I Give My Marriage A Year, which both of them have some thoughts about. Then there is a carrot shaped like a penis. Oh dear. Claire takes on a mindfulness challenge that involves "single tasking", and has a soundbath with Gwyneth Paltrow (not literally, of course), there's some things older people do which drive millennials mad (like leaving voicemails!), and they ask, is it ok that Brad Pitt's new girlfriend is 27 (and already married... to a 68 year old!)?

Also on the menu, teabags, chutney, facelifts, the most annoying ad in the world right now and they ask the question, if you were a man for a day, would you take a photo of yourself on the loo?

  • S2. Ep 34. The one about crazy code words and we got hate-reviewed!.

This week Claire and Lisa discuss towels and all the bits that make them good (fluffiness, drying ability and thickness are important) and why you shouldn't get a hand towel in the gym. They also get irate about a bad iTunes review written by someone they know who would rather impale herself on a cactus than listen to the podcast... the horror! If that isn't enough they go deep in to crazy-lady world and ask, are we all going mad thanks to COVID19 and menopause? They also talk about Why Women Kill and Dead To Me S2, La Belle Epoche, Adele Park's Just My Luck, getting lego stuck up your nose and handsoap you can make from a tablet, plus they reveal a whole lot of content from their book How Not To Live Your Best Life (which Lisa would pay full price for, high praise indeed). They also talk about Michelle Obama's "low grade depression", cleaning hacks for heavy pans, cost-per-compliment ways to write off expensive buys and ask, what on earth are poo detectives? If that's not enough, they chew the fat about a whole bunch of iso-stuff, like watching the new mobile streaming service Quibi, iso-kilos and border closures, plus watching the world through other people's windows... and finally get stuck into the horror that is fruit in salads. And in other news, they announce the name of their brand new book!
