Robert Kerr and Jason Davis have a lot to unpack after a weekend full of playoff thrills and big news about the future!
USL play-by-play announcer Mike Watts comes on right off the bat to talk about the slate of upsets in the first round of the USL Championship playoffs, including Detroit City FC going to Louisville and winning 1-0.
The USL also made a big hire for their future first division ambitions. Premier League executive Tony Scholes is coming over next summer to help usher in the new top division and institure promotion and relegation in the league system. Also, the MLS Playoffs have a flurry of do-or-die games threes on the way.
Finally, Tom Lyons, chief marketing officer of Brooklyn FC, comes on as the club looks ahead to its first men's season in 2026 as the women's side competes in the USL Super League's second season.
