• A play on rising interest rates which ultimately impact mortgage rates. Traders circulated a headline Tuesday morning which suggested Fed Funds Futures were pricing in a high interest rate of 5-5.25% by July. Fed Funds Futures had previously been pricing in a higher peak interest rate.
• Shopify (SHOP) -
• The company will report quarterly results Wednesday after market close.
• General Mills (GIS) -
• A play on a potential upcoming news catalyst. General Mills execs will present at the Consumer Analyst Group of New York (CAGNY) conference on Tuesday of next week. The company could give guidance at that presentation.
• Bellicum Pharmaceuticals (BLCM) -
• A play on an upcoming FDA-related news catalyst. Bellicum will present at the American Society of Clinical Oncology Genitourinary conference on Thursday of this week. The company is expected to give an update on Phase 1/2 data for its prostate cancer drug candidate.
• SECOO Group (SECO) -
• One of Tuesday's momentum names. Shares of this low-float penny stock were up 14% following news of another conversational AI bot being integrated for the company's services.
