We live in a world with a lot of messages through a variety of voices. Those messages can be ones that lead people into moments of fear, discouragement, unbelief and in the wrong direction. It is a time when it is imperative that we, the sheep of the great shepherd, to clearly discern the voice of the Shepherd therefore we must tune our ears to hearing His voice. Jesus said the sheep will never follow a strangers voice because they know it's not the voice of the Shepherd. This message looks at recognizing the voice of the stranger as well as some tips to help us tune our ear to the Shepherd.

A person can watch the news, read the newspaper or even have personal events that leave them in a state of perplexity. To be sure the world is a topsy turvy roller coaster of events right now. Some have been left to utter words of hopelessness and discouragement. But where do believers focus during tumultuous times? They focus on Jesus. They fix their eyes on the One who is in a fixed position at the right hand of God the Father. Because His is a fixed position we are able to keep our bearings. He is the One who is the unchangeable Christ who has given us an unshakable kingdom. Feeling tossed around? Fix your eyes on the fixed location in heaven.

God Speaks to us through a variety of methods including nature, the bible, prayer as well as other sources. This message focuses more on how God speaks through our everyday life experiences. Using real life illustrations (parables) you will experience God in a unique way and see how he communicates to us moment by moment, day by day.

God brought Israel out of Egypt and called them to be a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. He expects His church today to be the same. What's the basis for holy living? Why do we need to live a holy life set apart to God? What's the cause behind holiness? This message will challenge you to ask yourself what is the goal of holiness? Holiness in the life of the believer is a window through which those who don't know God can see God. Is your life a window to the world?

King Solomon tried the accumulation of wisdom, pleasure and accomplishment to bring satisfaction to his life. The result was Ecclesiastes 2:17 where he said: "So I hated life." Unfortunately there are many people who hate life because of the seemingly meaningless fulfillment they get from it. This is not the design of God however. Through this message you will find the pathway to meaning and fulfillment to the point where you can say: "I love life!"

Our identity signifies who we are. One's name is the most basic part of that identity, but our purpose is also recognized as part of our identity. We follow the story of Simon - Peter throughout the book of Matthew to see how his identity changes through an encounter with Jesus. We also see when he fails at the place of denying Christ but is then restored to his purpose through the reinstatement of Jesus after the resurrection. As we parallel this story with out lives, we can relate to being given a purpose. And when we fail or walk away from that purpose, God is always available to restore us.

Gideon heard the Lord say: "God is with you, Mighty Warrior." His response was: "if God is with us, where is He? He's abandoned us!" There are those moments in life when the circumstances of our lives can cause us to ask the same question. This message tries to answer the question Gideon had while at the same time shedding some light into our own circumstances. And, in the process will encourage you to discover God in the journey.

Pentecost Sunday is a day on the calendar that the church celebrates Acts 2. The fact is though everyday should be a day of living in the power of Pentecost. The disciples were in the upper room waiting because of the command of Jesus. They had been promised to be endued with power from on high and they were. Yet that moment was not the only moment the Holy Spirit came upon human flesh. This message looks at several accounts from the book of Acts to challenge us to live in the power of Pentecost.
