I John 3 says the sons of God are "obvious" in the world. They are to be easily distinguished or easily recognized by others as being sons of God. What is it that is the distinguishing marks of these obvious sons of the Kingdom? What will cause others to be able to say: "that man or that woman is a child of God's kingdom." There are sons of denominations, churches, and political agendas, but that doesn't mean they are sons of the kingdom. This message lays a foundation for all of us to be sons of the kingdom before anything else.

John had a vision of the throne of Heaven and the worship that surrounded it. It is a pure worship setting, and we can learn much from it. The devil was cast out of heaven because he wanted God's throne of worship. He tried to get Job to curse God, and he attempted to have Jesus worship him instead of the Father. The enemy of your soul wants to destroy you but he also wants to silence and steal your worship. When he does that it is not a time to be silent, but it is a time to rise up and worship the One who is NOW on the throne in Heaven.

In the year the great king Uzziah died Isaiah saw The Lord. Even though the earthly throne had been vacated the throne of heaven was still occupied. In the throne room of God Isaiah saw the One who was above his circumstances and had a heavenly encounter that would change his life. This message will encourage you to rise your vision above your situation to the throne of God.

Some people erroneously want to separate or squabble over which is more important - the cross or the resurrection. How foolish. Any gospel message that dismisses the work of the cross or the work of the resurrection is an incomplete message. The Apostle Paul knew well the connection between the two and preached them both. In I Corinthians 15 he powerfully speaks of the crucified Christ but also of the resurrected Christ and what His resurrection means for believers. A crucified savior paid my price and the resurrected savior sealed the deal that brings life changing power to every person who will believe it.

Just hours prior to being betrayed Jesus went to the Garden of Gethsemane which means "olive press". This would be a moment when Jesus would feel the weight of the ordeal that was to come upon Him which caused Him deep grief. In a moment of fervent prayer He prayed for it to be taken away yet aligned Himself with His Father's will. The Pressing place is a place or moment of deep burden, isolation, overwhelming grief and turmoil. Yet, in that moment the God of the Garden ministers His power and grace to the man in the garden. Just as olives are pressed to release the oil from that pressing place Jesus gave a flow that would bring joy and life to the world. You may find yourself in a Pressing Place but take heart there will be a flow that follows.

Jesus told Peter he was going to go through a sifting season in his life. A sifting season isn't a pleasant season as it is the time when the enemy of your soul is trying to overthrow your faith. It can be a time of pain, heartache, confusion and doubt but by the grace of Jesus a person can come out on the other end stronger than ever. If you have found yourself in a season of sifting this message is for you.

The story of David and Bathsheba is a story of David, giant killer, dealing with the giant within. This message reminds all of us about the giant that lurks within us in the face of temptation and the consequences that come from giving in to him. Yet, it ends with the hope that comes from God's amazing grace.
