About Please Don't Kick Me Out: Please Don't Kick Me Out is a podcast about nothing, and everything all at once. This podcast is about 'imposter syndrome', and exploring the idea that no one really feels like they belong. I will interview my friends and people that inspire me, to understand what success looks like to them. Does anyone really have it figured out? Let's find out.
For this week's episode, I spoke with Brenden Kumarasamy, a charismatic guy who started MasterTalk. Brenden projects confidence and inspires others to get good at public speaking. Imposter syndrome can creep in when you are not being authentic to yourself, but he found a way to smash through the negativity. Imposter syndrome impacts everyone differently, and if this podcast helps, then it is doing it's job. This is a great interview, and I hope you enjoy it!

In this week’s episode, I interview my former-coworker, Julia. Julia is one of the brightest and kindest people I’ve ever worked with, and that’s because her brain is brilliant. As an adult, she was diagnosed with autism, helping her connect the dots to what made her different and unique. I loved this interview, because I got to really know my lunch break buddy better, and I’m happy to report her next chapter during the pandemic has been a happy one. Imposter syndrome impacts everyone differently, but imagine never knowing why you felt the way you did until you were an adult!

This week's episode features Hanna Ward, who hosts the "Say What?" Podcast, which explores the idea of faith, purity, and what it means to be womenx. Hanna has felt imposter syndrome based on purity culture and her faith community. We conclude that authenticity is so important. This is a great talk, and I am excited to share it with you.

This week's bonus episode features my friend Kara, who I have known since college. Today is Kara's birthday, so my gift to her is making her listen to her own voice (not sorry about it). Kara and I discuss being the weird kid, never fitting in, and imposter syndrome in regards to breaking into a new career. It's a great listen! Please enjoy it, and happy birthday!

This week's guest is Stephen Settanni, comedian, and host of "A Comedy Advice Podcast". We talk about imposter syndrome, and how that can manifest in comedy, as well as hosting a podcast where you have to be funny and perform. This is a great conversation. If this helps one person than we have done our job.

Bonus Episode 11 - Living Authentically with Mel Rose
This bonus episode features an interview I did with the lovely Mel Rose, a woman empowerment coach who actually encouraged me to start this podcast. Now, as we celebrate 2,000+ streams, and are speaking with people worldwide, I feel very grateful for the conversation we had in February 2020. Melanie just recently took some huge steps in her personal journey to switch locations, start a new business, and follow her own beautiful advice to continue to follow what energizes her path. I hope with the most recent set of Southern California fires, she is safe and well. Thank you again, Melanie, for your positive affirmations and good vibes. I wish you all the best.
If this podcast helps one person, then it has done its job.
