A Truque le ralla que en los 80's en California, un chaval de 17 años y un viejo con aires de inventor tuvieran una relación paterno filial.

Cuando claramente Marty McFly carecía de referente paterno, al ver a su padre siempre doblegado por el paleto de Biff, aparte de ser un padre descuidado y que obviamente prefería pasar el tiempo viendo la tele con su otro hijo (el peloescarola que trabajaba en el McDonald's).

Y por lo tanto buscaba en otros hombres esa figura que su padre nunca había representado, un hombre con metas y sueños, para el pequeño Marty.

Que hay que explicártelo todo, ¡so' tonto!
