Another day another John Hughs film, Uncle Buck! On this episode we discuss the irreplaceable charisma of John Candy, the rise of Macaulay Culkin, Anders’ obsession with bands with food names, oh and for some reason we decide the best way to twist this movie is to make an over the top clips episode of Uncle Buck including a catfish fishing competition to marry the heart attack dad’s daughter. I don’t care too much for money… but I DO care for the 1987 film Can’t Buy Me Love! At least… that’s the consensus from the week’s episode of Plot Twisters. There’d be a spoiler alert, but Emma has an emotional moment about it pretty early on in the episode. In this one: teenage Emma shows up, a sign of things to come for season three - Patrick Dempsey, emo kids, and lots of FABULOUS outfits.

Hey everyone, after an unplanned hiatus, we’re back and we’ve missed you all terribly! On today’s episode we discuss Dead Poets Society, and don’t at us, but we both think it’s a little overrated. We discuss the amazing Robin Wiliams and do some questionable impressions of him, Anders’ hatred of poetry, charcuterie boards, and for some reason a Rosencrantz and Guildenstern style mashup between this film and Flashdance.

In this week's episode we discuss the 1983 classic The Outsiders. This film has so many famous people in it, we basically can't handle it. Also we make the realisation that everyone in this world is in fact, either a "Soc" or a "Greeser" including Ross from Friends, and we ask why we live in a world that doesn't acknowledge your good work? We don't know who needs to hear this right now, but hey you, cool beans, and well done!
