We had the pleasure of speaking with a gentleman in the ag industry that for many needs no introduction. Max Armstrong has been broadcasting agriculture news over the radio and on the television for decades. Having grown up in southern Indiana on the family farm, as one article says of Max, 'he is a farm boy at heart.' Listen in as we discuss a bit of the history of International Harvester, the development of communication in agriculture, Max's three favorite events of 2019, and view on 2020. As well, make sure to catch Max and his long time broadcasting partner, Orion Samuelson, on their Farm Progress show, 'This Week in Agribusiness.'

This episode we had the pleasure of talking with Darren Doane. This man has put in the hard work for decades, directing close to 500 music videos with the likes of Shinedown, Jason Mraz, The Zac Brown Band, Kid Rock, Uncle Kracker, Blink 182, and many many more. Growing up with a father who worked in Hollywood, Darren got to see the blue-collar side of the film industry while having the opportunity to rub elbows with the greats (John Wayne gave Darren his first pair of cowboy boots). As successful as Darren has been, a year ago he realized a major shift had happened and he and his business were left in the dust. Even with his outstanding resume, in a word, Darren had become 'irrelevant.' Join us as we talk with him about how he had to "fire himself" and rebuild his business from the ground up by utilizing one of the most innovative forms of communication in human history--social media.
Merry Christmas to all! Tomas (aka, Tyler Wilson) and Matthew Bane discuss some Christmas topics in a special car/Monday/Christmas edition of Friday on the Fly. Enjoy!
