Hey, remember Splash Mountain, guys?? They say the road to Hell is paved with good intentions, and-for better or worse-we decided to cover 1946's problematic film, Song of the South. We're gonna talk about Georgia's own red-headed stepchild, Joel Chandler Harris, and his dissemination of the beloved Uncle Remus tales. Let's go hang out on a plantation that looks like Candyland from Django Unchained! That'll be super chill and fun, right?? The neighbor kids want their dog back so they can drown it!! Zippidy Doo Dah!!
Join the Deef Troop this week as Deefy and Alexis cover 2006's Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior. Bust out your hip huggers and spaghetti straps and get ready to chow down on some banh mi (not Chinese at all) and moon cakes (which may or may not have unethically sourced shark fins in them?) Hunky monks and goosebumps, cross-dressing stuntmen and Macaulay Culkin! PM us for your WWWWD (What Would Wendy Wu Do) bracelets!
Sometimes you make a kickass episode and everything goes smoothly and you publish it a week later in a pretty little package. And then sometimes, your partner in pod forgets to switch the mic input and the whole episode gets recorded on a tinny laptop speaker. And then you end up in the hospital for a week for-STILL-unknown reasons.
Well, you know who else had to endure hardship? Cinderella. This plucky young lady gets shat on and abused by the world at every turn, but we see that divine right triumphs over domestic slavery in the end. Also, I'd have probably fared a lot better in that hospital if I had a loyal critter army running my IV's and popping oxycodones down m'hatch, but all's well that ends well, I suppose. Get ready for wacky animal antics, ruddy-faced romantic tyrants, and some serious big feet shaming as we dip our own imperfect toes into the shallow end of Disney's Silver Age for the first time!
The Masturbatorium is aliiiive, with the Sound of Muuuuuusiiiiiic... This episode was supposed to commemorate the life (and passing) of Christopher Plummer, God rest his beautiful Canadian soul, AANND coincide with the anniversary of the release of Rodgers and Hammersteins' beloved opus, but Timmy Q Mouse had a rough one trying to edit this monster. Tune in for three hours of nuns and nazis, baronesses and bike boys, puberty and puppets, a whole lotta singing and whole lotta stanning for Julie Andrews, in spite of her having the stupidest haircut of all time in this flick. So long, farewell, auf weidersehen, adieu.
After a three month hiatus, Plussin' and Cussin' returns to the masturbatorium to begin season 2 of our illustrious endeavor. We dust off the rust of the winter like a couple of woodland critters coming out of hibernation. (What's that white stuff??) Join us as we take a look at the flawed masterpiece that rounds out the end of Disney's Golden Age. Let's learn to walk, go through puberty, and get twitterpated!
Deef Troop's own Alexis Lindisney joins us for our Christmas special and season finale. We bust out the Malort spritzers and the bah humbugs as we travel back to a time when Tim Allen was the king of America, but apparently a real dick to his makeup artists. Fat suits, homoerotic elves with mullets and jetpacks, and reindeer farts abound. We also divulge how and when Christmas was first ruined for us. Hop aboard the sleigh and let us ruin it for you! And, oh yeah. . . Merry Christmas!
On the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, we're dropping the finale of our series on Disney's most hectic year yet. We cover Pearl Harbor (of all things), the proper abbreviation for jalapenos, and three of Disney's propaganda films for Uncle Sam. You'll also gather a bit of insight on dakimakura pillows (don't google it). Join us as we Heil! *pfft* Heil! *pfft* right in der fuehrer's face!
You think you've seen everything, but have you ever seen an elephant fly? We march forth diligently into part 2 of our 1941 series. This time, we're going to fall in love with a baby elephant, then proceed to watch him get abused for an entire movie. Real tearjerker stuff. Especially for crybaby Deefy. So let's drink some champagne tainted water and trip balls.
Are you tired of politics? Well, that's too damn bad. Alexis and Deefy dig a little too deep into a steamy pile of nonsense from the golden age of presidential scandals. That will Fridele is so hot right now. here it is, just in time for thanksgiving. The Deef Troop (not so proudly) presents: My date with the president's daughter!
We plunge into Disney's most tumultuous year thus far. A propaganda piece showcasing a bumbling hornball trying to bust a nut and make a dollar at Disney's palatial Burbank studios segways into the infamous strike that changed Walt Disney forever. Goofy as a gaucho. Racist topless centaurs. The return of the Tipple. Tim reveals the origins of his name. This is the Fellowship of the Ring ep of the trilogy that is Plussin' and Cussin's 1941 series.
