This PM-Podcast is the second in the Rail Operations Centre series. We are pleased to have Tony Eid, Executive Director, Future Delivery Networks at Sydney Trains and Ken Sheargold, CEO at PM-Partners with us today. Tony is still leading the majority of a large-scale, public-facing transformation to take Sydney trains to the next century. If you’ve been living under a rock (pardon the pun), you may not have noticed that Sydney Trains unveiled a piece of transport history with the launch of its own ROC, a $276 million next generation Rail Operations Centre, a large component of its move towards becoming a digital railway.

The ROC is a state-of-the-art 24x7 facility that sets up Sydney’s rail network for the next century, in order to support growth in passenger numbers from anticipated population growth.
