Pocomucho Daily episodes

  • Pocomucho Daily — Monday 6 July 2026
Monday, July 6th, 2026. I'm your host Ben D-M-Z. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily.
Armin van Buren was on the rooftop of UNiVERSe Ibiza this weekend, pulling out classic trance on vinyl — one hour of it, for the purists. And if that wasn't enough, he also showed up at Kappa FuturFestival in Turin for a breakfast b2b with Enrico Sangiuliano at ten in the morning, and was apparently handing out paninis to the crowd. As far as unusual summer festival moments go, that one's going to be hard to beat.
Health news from the DJ world — Harvey from Prospa has announced a pause from touring due to an ongoing ear condition. Over the past six weeks he's suffered ear infections and two perforated ear drums. No timeline given on his return, but the right call, clearly.
Difficult news now. Mickey Mann, the Scottish sound engineer and producer known for his work with Aphex Twin and Orbital, has died at the age of 64. A GoFundMe has been launched to support funeral costs and family travel. A significant figure behind some landmark electronic music recordings. Our thoughts go out to everyone close to him.
Kieran Hebden has dropped a surprise album under his Four Tet alias — the name written entirely in the Wingdings font, so good luck typing that one into a search bar. The record is eight tracks, runs 37 minutes, and is streaming now on Spotify.
Pig&Dan are back with Destination Unknown III on Bedrock. The third instalment in the series from the duo who've been at this for close to three decades — a body of work that's about evolution rather than repetition, which the release makes clear.
The Vestibule remixes EP from Galcher Lustwerk is out now on StrataSonic, featuring reworks from Ricardo Villalobos, Skee Mask, Saoirse, and Yaleesa Hall.
Robin Thurston has a new progressive house release out called Equinox on Magnetic Magazine Recordings. The track is built around a lead pad from the u-he Diva synthesiser, and is remarkably produced and focused.
D.J.S — the collective of Dymos, Jay Fase, and Shizzo — make their debut on Armada Records with One of Those Nights. Melodic house, tribal rhythms, groove-driven energy is the territory, this one should go a Long way.
Freespirit, resident DJ at Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos for close to three decades, has given an in-depth interview for WE RAVE YOU, touching on his journey through the dance scene and the relaunch of Cavo Paradiso Records. Inspiring and worth the read.
Over to France — Solidays, the Paris festival, will not happen this year. The 2026 edition was cancelled as an emergency measure just hours before its scheduled opening at Paris-Longchamp, after authorities intervened due to an extreme heatwave.
And on the book front — Dub Revolution, written by David Katz, charts the history of dub and the birth of remix culture, tracing the contributions of pioneers including Lee "Scratch" Perry, King Tubby, Prince Jammy, and Adrian Sherwood. Worth knowing about if that lineage means anything to you, and it should.
Now, what's good in Ibiza Today? John Summit brings Experts Only to UNVRS, with Sofi Tukker, Deer Jade b2b LP Giobbi, and Alt Control on the bill. Amnesia has Steel City, with Kettama going b2b with Silva Bumpa, plus Surusinghe and Soul Wun. At Akasha it's Peace N' Music with DJ Pippi and Willie Graff back to back. And Circoloco is at DC10 with a massive lineup — Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom, Honkey, Beltran, Ben UFO, Chris Stussy, The Blessed Madonna, Christian AB, Gerd Janson, Mochakk, Prosper, Rony Seikaly, and Sally C. Big Monday.
    That's it folks.

  • Pocomucho Daily — Thursday 2 July 2026
Thursday, July 2nd, 2026. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily.
Two big Ibiza stories to kick things off. The Diynamic Outdoor event with Solomun at Cantera Can Coix in San Antonio — scheduled for July 11th — has been cancelled following community backlash. Organisers Pacha ICONS confirmed all tickets will be fully refunded. The cancellation has reignited debate about the island's independent music scene.
And zooming out to the bigger picture: Ibiza is set to freeze new nightclub licenses under the island's upcoming PIAT tourism intervention plan. First Vice President Mariano Juan confirmed the measure is aimed at halting nightlife expansion and preserving the current balance — not closing existing clubs.
Charlotte de Witte has announced a special XXL edition of her audiovisual show The Resistance at Belgium's Rock Werchter festival on July 3rd — that's tomorrow. The show takes place in The Barn, a twenty-thousand-capacity tent. De Witte has been touring the production to considerable acclaim, and this version promises something beyond the standard run.
AlphaTheta has announced the CDJ-1500X — a new media player that brings many features from the flagship CDJ-3000X into a more compact design aimed at smaller booths and home setups. No pricing or release date was included in the announcement, but for anyone who's ever tried to fit a full DJ setup into a spare bedroom, this one's for you.
Sad news from the world of pop. Victor Willis, the lead singer of Village People and the voice behind Y.M.C.A. and Macho Man, has died at the age of 74.
Madeon is back. Nearly seven years after Good Faith, the French producer returns with a new album called Victory. In a new interview, he spoke about creative risk, heartbreak, and reinvention — summing up his philosophy with the line: the one sin of an artist is to be boring.
STL — Stephan Laubner — has announced a triple vinyl album called Take Me To Your Leader, out on his longtime home Something. Laubner has been releasing exclusively through the label for the better part of two decades, and a triple vinyl suggests he's not short of material.
Mnemonics returns to Workshop with a four-track remix EP, Workshop 34. The release is built around material from Philipp Waltinger's 2025 cassette album on the label, with remixes from Mix Mup, Lowtec, and Kassem Mosse.
Electronic Groove has announced a charity compilation in aid of Venezuela earthquake relief. Details on the release itself were limited, but the cause is clear.
The Soundgarden returns to New York on Sunday July 5th for an open-air summer gathering at Brooklyn's Solana Park. The event is presented by The Ornate Project, Mind Matter, and Gonna Go, and features Nick Warren and Peces Raros live, alongside Allen Hulsey and Daniela Starcat.
Now what's good in Ibiza? Universe is running a big one with FISHER, Nic Fanciulli, Marten Hørger, and Atrip. Pacha has Franky Rizardo on an extended set, joined by Alisha, Calvin Clarke, and Saraga. Also tonight, Josh Baker presents the You & Me Opening Party, with Baker going back-to-back with Prospa, plus Cloonee, jWave B2B Job de Jong, Shonky B2B Dyed Soundorom, and Moxie. At Akasha, Sven Väth presents T.R.A.N.C.E., with Mateo Dufour alongside him. Destino sees Marco Carola's Music On Daytime in daytime mode, featuring Carlita, Ahmed Spins, and Grace Arribas. O Beach has Offaiah, Ferreck Dawn, and a full supporting cast. Cova Santa hosts Gala by Ibán Mendoza, with Rodriguez Jr, John Acquaviva, and Tania Vulcano. Chinois goes Defected with Arielle Free, Low Steppa, Oden & Fatzo live, and more. And DC10 has Solid Groove — Marco Carola, Patrick Topping, Pawsa, Ben Sterling, Silvie Loto, and the rest. Pikes invites VITALIK & FUNK D’VOID. Big Thursday

  • Pocomucho Daily — Wednesday 1 July 2026
Wednesday, July 1st, 2026. I'm your host Ben DMZ. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily.
Manumission is teasing more secrets ahead of its long-awaited return to Ibiza — details remain tightly under wraps, but the legendary party is clearly building anticipation deliberately.
Also on the island, Jean-Michel Jarre will make his Ibiza debut this Sunday, July 5th, at Amnesia. The French electronic music pioneer will perform an exclusive live show.
Glitterbox continues its run at Amnesia every Friday through October 9th, with the venue marking its fiftieth anniversary in style. Grace Jones and Jorja Smith are among the names confirmed for the series.
Amsterdam Dance Event has revealed its lineup for the 2026 edition — its 30th anniversary — and it's a strong one. Skepta, Avalon Emerson, Octo Octa, DJ Nobu, KIKI, and Armin van Buuren are all on the bill, among more than 250 artists confirmed for the city-wide festival.
Deezer has launched a new in-app feature called Remix Lab, letting users create and share remixes of popular tracks. The company says artists and rightsholders will be compensated for every stream. It's rolling out first in France via Deezer Club.
Club Space in Miami is leaning into the FIFA World Cup moment with the launch of its Space Futbol Club Collection — a limited-edition apparel capsule that brings together football culture and the club's identity.
A vinyl recycling pilot has launched across independent record stores in the US. Collectors can now drop off unplayable records at Amoeba Music in LA and Rough Trade in New York to be recycled as part of the industry-led programme. A good start.
KVLTÖ Records has returned to digital with its 80th catalogue release — Experimental Spiritual Practices by Circuit V, a high-energy record from the respected Portuguese artist and producer.
Berlin-based ambient artist Notte Infinita has spoken ahead of his live set at Sanctum of Sound at MaHalla, describing his approach as wanting to leave space for interpretation. His project sits at the intersection of hypnotic ambient and techno.
Paul van Dyke is moving in a new musical direction. The German producer will release music under the alias Aurien — a significant departure from his club-oriented work, moving instead into ambient and lounge territory.
Maria Uzor, formerly one half of Sink Ya Teeth, has announced her debut solo album Fantasyland, alongside the first single Don't Touch Me.
And Hernán Cattáneo and Tom Pavicich have a new collaborative track called Bloom, out now on Balance.
Now, what's good in Ibiza today? At Universe, it's Jamie Jones back to back with Seth Troxler, joined by Lauren Lane, Franky Rizardo, and others. At Pacha, BLONDISH presents Abracadabra with Diplo also on the bill. The 528 HAS Brunch Electronik teams up with The Gardens of Babylon for a daytime affair featuring Ben Böhmer and Jan Blomqvist, both live. Chinois hosts the Mahmut Orhan Opening Party with Francis Mercier. And over at Pikes, David Morales heads up the night alongside Mina and Defex.
    That's it folks.

Tuesday, June 30th, 2026. I'm your host Ben D-M-Z. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily.
Glastonbury is sitting this one out — 2026 is a fallow year — but Block9 isn't letting the weekend pass quietly. The iconic stage has uploaded six sets to its SoundCloud page, timed to coincide with what would have been the festival's opening day. The recordings, captured at last year's event, feature Dave Harvey, ISAbella, Guy Williams, and others. If you're feeling the Glastonbury-shaped hole in your life right now, that's your remedy.
Good news out of Canada. Ottawa City Council has passed a motion allowing venues to apply for annual authorisations to hold all-night dance events, rather than seeking a separate licence for each individual event. Previously, any music event running between 3 AM and 9 AM required its own application every single time. The new system should make life considerably easier for promoters and venues operating in the city.
Solid Grooves and Miami's Club Space are both calling for donations to support relief efforts following the earthquakes in Venezuela, which have killed nearly 1,500 people at the time of writing. Both organisations are actively coordinating donation efforts — details through their respective channels.
HBO has shared a trailer for a new four-part documentary series about Burning Man. It's called The Man Will Burn, and it premieres on the 9th of July.
Tidal has published a new policy on AI-generated music, setting out how the streaming platform plans to handle a category of content that has grown considerably over the past year. The policy covers arrangements with labels, fraud checks, and a royalty ban on AI-generated tracks. Worth watching closely — how the major platforms land on this will matter for everyone in the music ecosystem.
Now, where are we going tonight in Ibiza? Universe has Æden, with Anyma, CamelPhat, Adam Sellouk, and 7Skies — that one's going to be big. Pacha goes deep into the Brazilian groove with Vintage Culture heading up a lineup that includes Mochakk, Volkoder, and Doozie. 528 opens early with Folamour, Melon Bomb, and the legendary Josh Wink. Chinois hosts an Anjunadeep night featuring 16BL, Because Of Art, Jody Wisternoff, and Natascha Polke. And Tomodachi has Real Gang with Tristan Da Cunha, Miller, and Nicolau.
    That's it folks!

  • Pocomucho Daily — Monday 29 June 2026
Monday, June 29th, 2026. I'm your host Ben D-M-Z. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily.
Pacha has landed in New York — permanently. The iconic Ibiza institution has opened its first permanent North American home, christening the space over three nights with Solomun, Michael Bibi, and Black Coffee. The venue sits in the old Brooklyn Mirage footprint, and by all accounts the cherries made the journey intact. A big moment for the brand, and a significant one for New York's club landscape.
Also on the Ibiza radar — 528 Ibiza is set to fall between worlds with its latest Brunch Electronik collaboration. Details are still emerging on that one, but the pairing of 528's otherworldly setting with the Brunch Electronik concept is one to watch.
Nocturna's opening night is here, in collaboration with Xtra Isabella, with Mia Moretti and more on the bill. Season beginnings matter on this island, and Nocturna's arrival adds another strand to what's shaping up to be a strong summer.
Davide Squillace has relaunched his independent imprint This And That Lab, marking the return with a new single called 'You Don't Know Me.' The relaunch ends what the announcement describes as a four-year hiatus for the label. Good to have it back. The track is excellent and should go a long way.
Vince Watson has unveiled 'Eminesence – The Mixes' via Everysoul — a remix package built around his long-running deep house track, featuring reinterpretations from Cee ElAssaad, Atjazz, and Osunlade. Three strong names on that one.
Arthur Oskan has released a new album called 'Analog Sympathiser' — described as a deeply personal record exploring thirty years of analogue synthesis, vintage gear restoration, and creative exploration. Oskan notes he was seventeen when the journey began. It's out now via Decoded Mag's radar.
mölly and Mees Salomé have delivered their first-ever collaboration, a track called 'transmission,' out on Colorize. A deeply emotive melodic house cut. First collabs are always interesting — this one sounds like it landed well.
Alex Albrecht features in a premiere for 'Too Much Traffic,' part of the first LP release from Pintai — a record label and wholesome get-together. The nine-track double twelve-inch marks a milestone for the imprint after two years and four releases, with contributions from a range of artists alongside Albrecht.
Larry Heard has a new album out called 'Leev Ur Ynd,' with Kris Needs taking a deep dive into it this month. Zipping through time and space, as the write-up puts it — which feels about right for Mr. Fingers.
Festival news from Europe. Sonora returns to Bordeaux on October 16th and 17th, 2026, at the city's Parc des Expositions, with Nina Kraviz, Klangkuenstler, Hysta, and Kuko confirmed.
Dream Nation 2026 has announced a new wave of names for its Halloween edition, including never-before-seen B2Bs and world premiere shows. Infected Mushroom, Pendulum, and Angerfist are all on the bill.
And Paradise City 2026 has confirmed its lineup, built — as the festival puts it — across the different cultures of the dancefloor. Richie Hawtin, Floating Points, SHERELLE, and Marlon Hoffstadt are among the names. Solid case for its place among Europe's most respected electronic music events.
oK NOW, what's good in biza today, our selection is John Summit presenting Experts Only at Universe alongside MK, Kilimanjaro B2B with TSHA, and Mesto. Amnesia is running Kettama presents Steel City, with DJ Heartstring, X-Coast B2B with Tommy Holohan, and Amy Wiles. Hï has Francis Mercier presenting Solèy, Sébastien Léger B2B with Roy Rosenfeld, Andrea Oliva, LP Giobbi, and Nandu. Out at Las Dalias, Akasha brings DJ Pippi, Willie Graff, and Raven Mandella. And DC10 has Circoloco — a deep lineup including Solomun, Luciano, Chloe Caillet, Call Super, Rony Seikaly, and a long list of others. Big Monday on the island.
That's it ravers. Although hand curated, this episode is AI-powered. For the human side, check out our weekly dance music selections, Ibiza club playlists updated almost daily, and our focus mixes. All links in the description. See you tomorrow for more dance music news.

Friday, June 26th 2026. I'm your host Ben D-M-Z. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily.
Marco Carola pulled off one of the most talked-about moments of the Ibiza season last Saturday at Pacha's Flower Power night. The artist synonymous with driving Minimal and Tech-House completely stepped away from that world and entered a different musical universe entirely — a striking departure from the sound that defines his Music On residency. Safe to say, no one saw that coming.
MANUMISSION is teasing more secrets ahead of its long-awaited return to Ibiza. Details are still emerging, but the legendary party's comeback is clearly building momentum.
Over to Paris — the Techno Parade is back, and this year's edition has a big theme. The association Technopol has announced it's dedicating its 2026 return to Detroit, the birthplace of techno. After more than two years of absence, the parade rolls through the streets of Paris on September 19th. Mark it down.
HAAi is moving fast. Less than a year after releasing HUMANiSE in 2025, the Australian producer and DJ has announced a brand new album called DIGITiSE, due October 9th on Mute. A lead single of the same name is already out. The project apparently started as a remix of HUMANiSE but took on a life of its own during the creative process.
Tomorrowland is expanding its Shanghai festival into a two-day experience this October. It's the third edition of the China event, and clearly the appetite is there to grow it.
A fifteen-year mystery has been solved. Irish-Swedish singer-songwriter Jenny Lindfors has revealed she was the anonymous vocalist on Avicii's unreleased track Enough Is Enough. The song has been beloved by fans for years — now they finally know who was behind it.
Tresor has announced the return of Büro Siebzig at Globus for a nine-week summer programme. Expect live performance, artistic experimentation and community gathering — the series opens with a run of performances. Berlin doing what Berlin does.
Fusion Festival is happening for the 27th time in 2026, and booker Karo has been talking about what that looks like — 700 acts, no headliner pressure, and apparently some intense heat in front of the tower stage. Mad Max fantasies included.
On the music side, 11:68PM is back with a five-track EP called Make Me on his own Craft Services label, hot off the back of his first release there. And Dyzen has a new track out called Messy on Mind Against's HABITAT imprint — premiering via Inverted Audio. Also, Parker Gordon is going full disco on his House Heads debut. Plenty to dig into this weekend.
Right, what's on tonight and through the weekend in Ibiza. Tonight at Pacha it's Music On with Marco Carola, Franky Rizardo, Ilario Alicante and Luciano. Also tonight, Akasha hosts C.R.A.F.T. Ibiza presents Bedrock with John Digweed. And Woomoon is at Cova Santa with Damian Lazarus. Tomorrow night, ANTS brings Eats Everything to Ushuaïa, while Flower Power at Pacha has Roger Sanchez and Nic Fanciulli. Claptone's The Masquerade lands at Chinois with Deep Dish, Diego San Diego and Jack Tennis. Sunday is stacked — Universe has Carl Cox, WhoMadeWho in hybrid mode, Ben Sterling and Anna Tur. Solomun goes all night long at Pacha. Pyramid at Amnesia features Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin, Adrian Mills and Amelie Lens. And out at Playa Soleil, it's the Bora Bora Opening Party from NuSun with Hernán Cattáneo on an extended set, Guti live, Lum and Bohem live. A serious weekend.

  • Pocomucho Daily — Thursday 25 June 2026
Thursday, June 25th, 2026. I'm your host Ben D-M-Z. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily.
Music On at Pacha on June 19th delivered what many Ibiza nights promise but few actually pull off — a fully realised dancefloor experience. Marco Carola's long-running night combined a heavyweight lineup with a packed room and a carefully constructed musical arc that's being called one of the most complete club experiences of the summer so far.
Sad news from Berlin. Bob Young, the man behind 90 Grad and GMF, has passed away. Young was a defining force in queer nightlife in 1990s Berlin, shaping spaces that became genuinely important to the city's club culture.
In Paris, J.A.W Family is marking twenty years, and co-founder Thomas Vermynck has been speaking about what's kept the collective grounded across two decades. His framing says a lot: the goal, he says, has always been to honour and celebrate the music and the artists rather than claim them for themselves.
Over in the UK, Campo Sancho Festival has announced its full lineup for its ninth edition, returning to Walkern Hall in Hertfordshire from the 23rd to the 26th of July. The boutique event from London underground pioneers Sancho Panza has quietly built one of the more distinctive spots in the UK festival landscape, and founders Jim Angell and Matt Brown have been talking DIY culture and what makes the thing tick.
A premiere worth your ears — George Privatti has put his hands on Sanchez UK's track Duro for the Time Bandits label, and by all accounts he goes hard on it. Name of the remix, name of the approach.
Now what's going on in ibiza today. Over at Ushuaïa, HUGEL kicks off his Make The Girls Dance Special, joined by AMÉMÉ, Grossomoddo b2b Solto, and Coco & Breezy. The night then moves to Hï where the same Make The Girls Dance banner continues with HVMZA, Marten Lou, Sam Blacky, and Miss Monique. At Pacha, 50 Cent live — one of those ones you don't see every week. Destino Five goes daytime from five until eleven with Marco Carola presenting Music On Daytime alongside Loco Dice, East End Dubs, and Frank Storm. • Pocomucho Daily — Wednesday 24 June 2026
Wednesday, June 24th, 2026. I'm your host Ben D-M-Z. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily.
Tonight's island is stacked, and we'll get to that shortly — but first, the news.
Seth Troxler has announced a 35-track VA compilation called *He Ain't Here*, coming through his Slacker 85 label on July 1st. The tracklist reads like a serious roll call: Skream, Hiroko Yamamura, Krystal Klear, Marc Houle, Audion, Jonny Rock, and Troxler himself all feature. In his own words, the record is "protest — from fight songs to moments of joy." One to mark in the calendar.
    [STORY BREAK]
Eddie Leader is celebrating 20 years of Hudd Traxx with a new compilation featuring twenty all-new tracks. The UK house label has pulled together a formidable lineup for the occasion — Chez Damier, Jovonn, Cinthie, Seven Davis Jr., DJ Sneak among them. Two decades deep and the identity is clearly intact.
    [STORY BREAK]
Tresor has announced the return of Büro Siebzig, with a nine-week summer programme landing in the Globus room. The series focuses on live performance, artistic experimentation, and community gathering, opening with a run of performances. Berlin doing what Berlin does.
    [STORY BREAK]
Chris Lake has moved 55,000 tickets across five sold-out June shows — a weekend at Los Angeles State Historic Park and a three-night takeover in New York City. Big numbers for the summer run.
    [STORY BREAK]
Over in Brooklyn, DJ Mag has paid a visit to The Illustrious Blacks at home. The duo have long made it their mission to carry a message of liberation, freedom, and togetherness — not just through music but through their entire aesthetic. Worth a read if you want something a little deeper than a standard artist profile.
    [STORY BREAK]
Traxsource is rolling out transparency labels across its platform, marking music as either human-made or AI-assisted — and fully AI-generated music is being removed entirely. A notable move from one of the key digital stores in the underground space.
    [STORY BREAK]
Author Matthew Collin — whose definitive book on ecstasy and dance culture, *Altered State*, has a new edition out now — has charted the history of MDMA's relationship to music through thirteen tracks. If you've never read *Altered State*, consider this your prompt.
    [STORY BREAK]
And B 018, the legendary Beirut club that opened buried in the city's industrial wasteland on April 18th, 1998, is getting its story retold. One of clubbing's genuinely mythic spaces — the piece traces how it came back.
    [STORY BREAK]
Now, what's on tonight. Ushuaïa kicks off with Tomorrowland presenting Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, joined by Timmy Trumpet and Yves V. Universe has Jamie Jones back to back with The Martinez Brothers alongside Cloonee, Richy Ahmed, and more — that's a proper Paradise night. Pacha goes with BLOND:ISH presenting Abracadabra. Hï has Meduza and James Hype co-headlining their Our House event with Magdalena, Olympe, and Zamna Soundsystem in the mix. Cova Santa hosts Rumors with Guy Gerber, Agoria, Wolfram, and Carla Sjølund back to back with Tizia. Eden runs 23 Degrees with Hodge and Main Phase. Playa Soleil brings Sunwaves Ibiza to the island, featuring Ion Ludwig live. And over at Akasha in Las Dalias, Namaste hosts with Sylvia Opere, Aleks Sputnik, and Boho.
That's it for today. Although hand curated, this podcast is AI-powered. For the human side, check out our weekly dance music selections, Ibiza club playlists updated almost daily, and our focus mixes. All links in the description. See you tomorrow for more dance music news.

  • Pocomucho Daily — Tuesday 23 June 2026
Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026. I'm your host Ben D-M-Ze. From Ibiza, this is Pocomucho Daily.
Purple Disco Machine has been forced to pause his tour until mid-July due to severe ear issues. That has implications for his residency at Pacha Ibiza — though no specific dates have been confirmed as cancelled yet, it's worth checking before you make any plans around him.
Swedish House Mafia are locked in for Sunday daytime duties at Ushuaïa this season.
Over in Amsterdam, TILLATEC — the club that took over the legendary De School location back in 2024 — is closing its doors after two and a half years.
Big news from Traxsource. From July 1st, the house music download platform will introduce Human-Made and AI-Assisted labels across its catalogue, following the publication of their official position on AI music. A practical and transparent move — and one the wider industry will be watching closely.
Sam Farsio has landed on Dubfire's SCI+TEC imprint with a two-track EP called Champion Sound. The release is an homage to the golden era of progressive house, with the title track as its centrepiece.
Marco Weber is back with a new house cut called Lola, appearing on Sublease Music as part of their Fragments 02 compilation.
Lee Foss and ERASR have linked up for a track called Party Monster, out on Repopulate Mars.
Sammy Virji is heading to New York next month for a two-night takeover at Brooklyn Army Terminal, presented by EMW and The Bowery.
Global Underground's Australian tour has wrapped, and by all accounts it was a landmark run. Sasha, Danny Howells, James Zabiela and John Pappa all featured across sold-out shows across several states.
And from Bavaria, Decent Rides are building a reputation as one of the most exciting underground duos to come out of the region. Blending deep house, techno, jazz, disco and hip-hop into their own sound, they've been releasing through respected labels including Quintesse, and are now also running their own imprint, Interloot Records.
ok now, what's on tonight in Ibiza. At Ushuaïa, Ozuna plays live. At Universe, Anyma presents his ÆDEN show alongside Prospa and Mano Le Tough. Pacha has Vintage Culture headlining with Franky Rizardo, Omri and Jessica Brankka. Hï hosts East End Dubs presenting Eastenderz, with Mason Collective, M-High and Paco Osuna. Amnesia goes deep with Do Not Sleep — Luuk van Dijk, Locky b2b with Job de Jong. At 528 in Pikes, it's Detroit Love with Carl Craig and Moodymann sharing the bill alongside Flo Real and Ryan O'Gorman — that's DEFINITELY the one tonight. Cova Santa has PIV Ibiza with Josh Butler, Hardsoul and Ellia Jaya. Chinois has the Anjunadeep night with Eli & Fur and James Grant. Akasha hosts Borealis with Nico Stojan, Anstascia and Sulka. And Tomodachi welcomes Mathew Jonson with Real Gang alongside EVGHENINA.
