Dr Cruse alerts us that some states are noticing a substantial increase in new Covid-19 cases, and those states seem to be the ones which never fully locked down, or which re-opened earlier than others.  Sweden took a very unique approach to the Coronavirus and Dr Cruse explains why their approach didn't work out.  Finally, with more counties in PA switching to "green" and large group protests happening across the state and country, Dr Cruse discusses ways that we can maintain our health and safety while simultaneously supporting the local economy or making our opinions known.

Dr Cruse tells us how states in the northeast are experiencing a decline in cases, but southern states seem to be experiencing an increase in new Covid-19 cases.  Vaccines are in development and Dr Cruse explains how an accelerated timetable for vaccine production could mean a financial loss for those who are paying to produce it, but that the financial risk is worth taking.

Dr Cruse discusses how medical advice can change as new information is brought to light, and how the approach to Covid-19 has moved much much faster than traditional science.  He also explains why deaths attributed to Covid are most likely being under-reported, rather than over-reported.

Dr Cruse explains how Wayne and Pike counties have experienced very few new cases over the last two weeks, but that the activity from Memorial Day weekend could take a week or two to impact our numbers.  However he has seen very encouraging signs both statistically and when he was out grocery shopping - all shoppers were following guidelines, wearing masks, and staying distant.  Dr Cruse discusses "Super Spread" events where many cases of COVID-19 can be linked to a single event like a church service, nightclub or indoor fitness event.  As temperatures rise, families will want to be outdoors and take advantage of pleasant weather, and Dr Cruse explains how activities like the beach and the pool can be relatively low-risk as long as precautions are followed.
