Welcome to Boulder Free Zone Radio – The Stand Podcast, your dedicated after-show podcast for the limited series on CBS All-Access. For the next 9 weeks, the duo now becomes a trio, where Paul, Sheila, and Inez will be breaking down this new limited series starring James Marsden, Alexander Skarsgard, Whoopi Goldberg, Greg Kinnear and so many more in a deep bench of seasoned actors. Will you join us as we make our Stand?
Paul and Sheila welcome a third clubhouse member, Inez to the discussion of Episode 5, “Fear and Loathing in New Vegas.” What a welcome: orgies, spies, voyeurism! We celebrate the director change and as the title would indicate, the journey brings us to New Vegas and we get some much-needed screen time with Randall. We have lots to say about New Vegas being brought to life and Randall’s despotic rule over the debauchery through Dayna’s eyes. Will her message to Tom get through or will it endanger him? Harold. What fresh hell has he wrought this week as he loses his grip on humanity? Nadine’s spiral is leaving her conflicted, but Randall … the manipulation is strong with this one.
We have your Boulder Free Zone Radio - Songs from The Stand Spotify playlist HERE!

Do you have questions? Thoughts for discussion? We’d love to hear from you and maybe we’ll read them on air!

THIS IS US -- "Birth Mother" Episode 506 -- Pictured: (l-r) Sterling K. Brown as Randall, Susan Kelechi Watson as Beth, Vien Hong as Hai Lang -- (Photo by: NBC)

"I didn't know I was looking for you."

The opening and final closing of the mystery of Randall's birth played out this week as he and Beth visited his all-but-legally-wed-step-father, Hai Lang, in New Orleans. In a series of flashbacks, we learned all about Randall's maternal grandparents, the well-to-do Dubois family. The struggles his mother, Laurel, had in finding a way to co-exist in a household where she never felt like she fit in, mirrored Randall's own experience growing up in some ways. Then the lasting shame she felt about how she left William and Randall's lives served as a powerful example for how Randall does NOT want to live his life...

Just a super-powerful hour of TV! Combined with this podcast's sparkling and witty commentary, it -should- leave you feeling warm and cozy enough to last until next week's episode!

  • The Yellowstone Podcast: Yellowstone Rewind (For Episode 108)
    Paramount Network

You know Stef and Sheila from The Yellowstone Podcast. Now, go back in time with them as they relive the entire series from the beginning! Each week from now until Season 4 begins next Summer, get your Yellowstone fill with The Yellowstone Podcast: Yellowstone Rewind!

This week, Sheila and Stef continue their rewind of Season 1 by breaking down Episode 8, "The Unraveling Part 1"! This is part one of Season 1's 2-part season finale.
In this week's episode, we talk about Rip’s heartbreaking origin story which was finally revealed in this episode while we wonder why everyone is much more concerned about the dead bear than the 2 dead hikers. Trespassing really is frowned upon, apparently. Also, we discuss some theories as to why John is seemingly spiraling out of control, what we think of Beth's plan to go after Dan Jenkins' finances (and his marriage), and so much more!
Announcement: Love Yellowstone? Love the music? Stef and Sheila have created a curated Yellowstone Playlist at Spotify of our favorite songs from the show and ones that are similar. We hope you enjoy!

Listen, rate, review, and subscribe to The Yellowstone Podcast on Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen! And write in and leave us comments on PodClubhouse.com, we'd love to hear from you!
