    Wendy Davis:
Wendy recently starred on OWN's hit series, Love Is, as Wiser Nuri, her fourth series regular role. She is widely known for her portrayal of Colonel Joan Burton for seven seasons on Lifetime Television's popular drama, Army Wives. She was nominated for several awards for her work on the show.

Wendy has been singled out for her stellar work many times. An example of this is when The Hollywood Reporter reviewed the Steven Spielberg ABC pilot, High Incident. Wendy booked a small guest-starring role on the show. The Hollywood Reporter wrote: "The large and strikingly good cast all make outstanding first impressions, and Wendy Davis is magnificent as a cop's widow. " Wendy was offered a series regular role on the ABC show.

Other recent credits include the sci-fi film, Encounter with Luke Hemsworth. Television shows include Bull, NCIS, Major Crimes, Criminal Minds, Designated Survivor, and a five-episode arc on Scandal, to name a few.

In 2010 Wendy founded ActingPros.com while shooting Army Wives on location in Charleston, South Carolina. After shooting her day's work on Army Wives, Wendy taught a group of highly motivated trained local actors Audition and Close-Up classes in the studio cafeteria on the lot. Several of them transformed from amateurs to professional working film and television actors.

Wendy continues to work professionally, and help actors reach their dream of becoming highly paid, working professionals through her free Audition Secrets, and online courses at actingpros.com!

  • Prepare to Brace! - The Snowpiercer Podcast (For Episode 106)
Snowpiercer Ep 106 photo by: Justina Mintz Copyright 2020 TNT

All aboard! But are you sure you really want to get on? I mean, this train can only run for about 7 years straight before it starts falling apart. Good thing the train's designer also heads up the Hospitality department. As we learned in Snowpiercer Episode 106, she's a champion multi-tasker.

For an episode featuring the series' most cinematic action sequences so far, we also received a fair amount of world-building and minor question-answering. All in all, maybe the best episode so far. Basking in that glow, Cat and Paul use this week's podcast to discuss questions like:

    * Was this week's brake failure actually sabotage? And if not, then what does that mean for future episodes?
    * Now that Andre is awake and mostly functional, he told Josie about the Mr. Wilford ruse. How long until that news reaches the tail? And what happens when it does?
    * Melanie told Andre a LOT of secrets before he released her to repair the train. How much of what she said was true?
We discuss these questions and more in the podcast! Listen, rate, review, and write in! We'd love to hear from you!

  • The Yellowstone Podcast (For Episode 301)
    Paramount Network

Join Stef and Sheila each week as they discuss Paramount Network’s hit series, Yellowstone, created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. This week on The Yellowstone Podcast, Stef and Sheila discuss the Season 3 premiere of Yellowstone.

For those new to the show, Yellowstone follows the Dutton family, owners of the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, as they fight external (and internal) forces bent on trying to take what is theirs. The star-studded cast includes Kevin Costner, Cole Hauser, Luke Grimes and Kelly Reilly.

This podcast episode, the hosts briefly recap how Season 2 ended and then dive into the storyline for the new season and what it all means for the Duttons. The ladies give some guesses as to how this third season will shake out and their opinions on what they think should be covered (looking at that nasty sibling feud between Beth and Jamie!). Saddle up, cowboys and cowgirls, it’s time to head back to the Dutton Ranch!

Catch up on Sheila’s Season 2 written recaps over at PopCultureReview!

  • Prepare to Brace! - The Snowpiercer Podcast (For Ep. 105)
Snowpiercer S1E5 photo by Justina Mintz Copyright 2020 TNT.

The passengers and staff of Snowpiercer were all shocked to learn that train detective Andre Layton (Daveed Diggs) had identified a suspect in the murder of Sean Wise. Although ruthless Eric the bodyguard may have performed the slicing and dicing, Andre, shortly before his unceremonious drawer-ing, believed Lila Folgers Jr. (or LJ if you're nasty), to be the brains behind the madness. In this episode, Cat and Paul discuss what justice looks like while onboard Snowpiercer, especially when you're in first-class.

Besides the case itself, we talk about:

    * Train justice in general and where their somewhat abbreviated code of justice may have come from. Did someone just make it up after watching a few episodes of Law and Order?
    * The Mr. Wilford cabal of people entrusted with the secret of his identity. Who's in and who's out?
    * The future of Tess (Brakeman Till if you're nastier) and where characters like her may land if the train ends up in a revolution. What side is she on?
    * Jinju, the most informed and involved bartender since Guinan (Star Trek TNG, yo). What is her role and where do her loyalties truly lie?
We discuss these questions and more in the podcast! Listen, rate, review, and write in! We'd love to hear from you!
