Welcome back to The I Know This Much Is True Podcast, the latest TV series podcast from Pod Clubhouse! Each week, a rotating lineup of hosts will discuss I Know This Much Is True, the six-part limited series from HBO.

On this episode of The I Know This Much Is True Podcast, Caroline, Sheila and Mike are back to discuss Episode Three. Lisa Sheffer preps Dominick for a pivotal hearing to decide Thomas’ fate. A chance encounter with an old classmate brings painful childhood memories to the surface. Dominick reflects on his and Thomas’ time together at college, during which he met Dessa and the signs of his brother’s illness first began to manifest. Joy attempts to remedy the problems in her and Dominick’s relationship.

The hosts break down the episode in detail and share their experiences. They illustrate how relevant and pervasive the issues brought up in the show are, including the devastating impact of mental illness, the challenges of family members with disabilities or mental illness, and the frustration of navigating “the system.”

We hope you continue to join us as we explore I Know This Much Is True and the issues it raises about how we all get along in this world.  #HBO #IKnowThisMuchIsTrue

Welcome to Dreamland, The Hollywood Podcast, where, each week, Caroline and Mike discuss a new episode of Netflix's limited series, Hollywood!!

In this episode of Welcome to Dreamland, The Hollywood Podcast, Caroline and Mike are discussing the fourth episode of Hollywood, "(Screen) Tests"!

As we arrive at the screen tests for the lead roles in Peg Meg, the stakes are raised and people are pushed to their edge. When it comes to Camille, was Ray a good director or a bad boyfriend? Is Ace a pragmatic businessman or a racist, womanizing piece of garbage, representative of the toxic Hollywood system (or is he a combination of all of the above)? Has Archie been pushed too far? And if so, what will he do next? This is just scratching the surface of this week's discussion!  Plus a deep dive into the Hays Code with this week's Learn The Lingo Segment!

Caroline and Mike get into all of the above, and so much more, on this episode of Welcome to Dreamland, The Hollywood Podcast!

  • The Defending Jacob Podcast (For Episodes 4&5)
Defending Jacob 104 - Chris Evans as Andy Barber. Image By Apple TV+. Copyright 2020.

As Jacob's school year ends, his trial also draws closer. Although Andy appears to trust the defense attorney, he can't just sit and wait for the court date. He pursues all other leads aggressively in these two episodes, leaving no stone unturned and no tire un-popped.  Where Andy deals with his grief with outward action, Laurie inwardly deals with a burgeoning thought that Jacob could have committed the murder. Wait! Isn't she supposed to be defending Jacob?

And where's Jacob? Either at tutoring with his second-grade teacher or playing video games with Sarah. Or sending not-very-deepfake photos of himself as an ax-wielding maniac to Sarah. There's that, too.

    We ask questions like:

    * Although Andy made a career as a prosecutor, would he have been a better defending attorney?
    * Paul tells a regret-filled tale of having gotten spit on (pre-corona) and asks Caroline how she might have reacted as Laurie when the same thing happened to her.
    * Laurie hasn't cracked yet, but she looks close. Is she going to lose it?
    * And, every episode we ask, Who killed Ben? and Why is Andy in front of the grand jury?

We discuss these questions and MORE in our continuing coverage of Defending Jacob. Look for our coverage of episode 6 later this week!

Snowpiercer- Ep 101 photo by: Justina Mintz. Copyright 2020.

When the passengers of Wilford Industries' Ark train, the magnificent Snowpiercer, hear, "Prepare to Brace", they know to expect a bumpy ride. Podcast fans and high-concept sci-fi fans, now hear this - if you join Cat and Paul on this podcast series, we'll do our best to smooth out those bumps for you.

Based on a graphic novel that became a cult-classic Bong Joon Ho directed film in 2013, TNT's Snowpiercer tells its own version of the story. Although the setting and premise remain the same, viewers shouldn't go into TNT's interpretation expecting to see any remnant of Bong's movie. Doing so would only prove a disappointment for hardcore fans of the movie. Instead, we'd encourage viewers to take this series as it is and dig into its characters and story. After all, Snowpiercer rolls with 1001 cars and each one has mysteries for Daveed Digg's Andre Layton to solve.
In this podcast, we dive into issues like:

    * The quality and production value in the show.
    * The relationships between the characters.
    * The OTHER reasons Melanie Cavill (Jennifer Connelly) might have had to summon Layton from the tail.

We'll be here every week with another podcast sorting out each episode's new riveting revelations!
