Join Holly while she interviews our beloved Chair, Steven Ginsberg and his co-author (and husband and all around brilliant guy) Stephen Tropiano, about their incredible new book, The SNL Companion: An Unofficial Guide to the Seasons, Sketches, and Stars of Saturday Night Live (available for purchase starting on September 17!). Because we could barely contain our conversation to just one episode (I mean there's 50 seasons, how could we?), this is part 1 of our discussion where we delve into the evolution of SNL, who still watches SNL, the politics, the stars, and even a chance meeting with the real Linda Richman (spoiler: they were not verklempt). 

We can call this episode a "Stefon" because truly it. has. everything. The Chair and Holly talk all things summer pop culture, from Kamala's entrance into the presidential race, to summer blockbusters (Twisters? Really?), and our favorite Emmy nominations (Jamie Lee, make room on your shelf). But what it all comes down to is taste... and we think we got that taken care of. Have you had Kenough? Never! The Chair and Holly recap all things Oscars 2024 and finally put awards season to bed (we'll miss it! really!). We cover everything from winners to presenters to fashion, and everything in between -- and yes, we spend ample time gushing about the already iconic "I'm Just Ken" musical number (sorry, not sorry). The Chair avoids gloating about his impeccable predictions (Emma! Last Repair Shop!) in this episode that is chock full of all things glittery and golden!
