Let's update the standing and where we stand today in Major League Baseball before we touch on two big topics going on in the sport; both on and off the field.
The first topic is of course the wandering eyes of Aaron Judge during Monday's game in Toronto. Where was he looking, and was it because he was cheating? After his eyes look to the right he immediately hits the ball to another planet, so did he cheat or is he just Aaron Judge MVP that is really good at baseball? The ladder is right, but I'll discuss it some more in the episode.
The last topic will be what the hell is going on with the A's and their current and possible future. Vegas has looked like the place they will call home soon, but I'm not sure if everything is carved in stone quite yet. John Fisher has been a mess of an owner, and I don't see a solution coming soon. There is still so much that needs to happen, and this is not the first time they have had an "agreement" in place. I will do my best to explain a very confusing, and frustrating, topic.

It's been a month since I checked in, so let's take a look at the standings. I want to see how my pre-season predictions are looking, but also how I think the rest of the season will play out.
There are some clear surprises in the Pirates and Cardinals (for opposite reasons), but are they going to stay throughout the year? I take a look at rosters like those two (as well as the Rangers, Red Sox, Cubs, Brewers, and Angels) and tried to get a better picture of how I think the rest of their seasons will play out.
There is still a lot of baseball to be played, and we are nowhere near the trade deadline, so everything I say is an educated guess. Still, if I missed something about your team, or got something wrong, let me know!

It goes without saying, but it is really early in the MLB season; still, there are things to be learned. Not a lot to learn, but some things...maybe.
There's so much season left to be played. Are teams like the Athletics, Tigers, or Royals going to turn it around though? Probably not. Are the Rays, Braves or Guardians going to fade? Also, probably not. Still, teams like the Brewers, Diamondbacks, and Rangers could use a nice start to build on.
Listen in to hear what I think of this young baseball season, and if any of my early season thoughts have changed!

In the last episode we talked about the National League, so we had to talk American League before the season begins.
With opening day tomorrow it is the perfect time to look at each team, and division, and predict how we think it will go. There are always some surprises, so we are excited to find out who they will be.
Opening day brings a lot of great pitching matchups, so I want to discuss the which one's I'm the most excited about. All-day baseball is going to be awesome, and hopefully, I can help you decide which games to pay the most attention to.

The World Baseball Classic wrapped up yesterday, and it could not have been more of a success. From start to finish the WBC was amazing, and put more eyes on Baseball than any other event in History. Japan defeated the United States 3-2 yesterday in the Championship, and now it is time for regular season baseball..almost.
It is tough to come off of the emotions and intensity of the WBC and return to Spring Training, but that is exactly what players are going to have to do. Luckily it is only for a week as the Opening Day is next Thursday. Since I have not been posting episodes for a little while I wanted to talk about the National League and how I think it will play out.
Next week I will record, and post, on Wednesday so that we can talk about the American League, and to take a look at the opening-day matchups.

Our baseball discussion this week unfortunately led to talk about bad managers and owners around the league. There are fan bases that just deserve better and we hope they get better soon.
What is happening with Trevor Bauer? Will we get a decision soon? MLB prolonging this situation will only make things worse.
