In this episode, we tackle 2 doctrines that are at the very foundation of the Christian experience. We discuss Redemption, what it is, how it happens, and the way we should understand it from the OT point of view into the NT. We spend a good deal of time on this and the topic of Substitution. This vital doctrine has come under attack in recent years from critics, mockers, and believe it or not, scholars. Is Substitution a biblical doctrine? Was there a substitution provided for us? We believe Jesus is our Substitute, so we explain the doctrine, why we should believe it, and why we need to fight for it. Take some time to come and study God’s Word with us today!

In this episode, we look at one of the characteristics of God that we can possess, and it is one that we all need to possess. The problem with this is that very few people desire to seek for it… so, what are we talking about? Patience… it is a godly virtue, but it is one thing we bypass in our prayer times. We do this because the Bible tells us that it is tribulation that brings patience, and if that is so, we’re not interested. We try to uncover the blessing of patience, while presenting a strong argument for why we need it so much today. We feel this episode will challenge you, but it will be a blessing to you as well… if you have the patience to listen to it all. Take the time and come study God’s Word with us today!

In this episode, we drill down on one of the most foundational doctrines the church possesses. The justification of those who believe on Christ is a must to gain entrance into Heaven. This is the act of man being made right with God, through what Jesus accomplished on the cross. Through justifying the believer, our sins have been taken away from us, and God has imputed the righteousness of Christ to us. Justification is a legal term, and we dig into what that means, plus many more things that you don’t want to miss. We invite you to come study God’s Word with us today!

To get a good grasp of what Atonement is, we must go back into the Old Testament and study some of the priestly rituals. In doing that, we end up going over the Day of Atonement, the Scapegoat, our sins departing from East to West, and more. We touch on several familiar scripture passages such as Ps. 103, Is. 53, and Heb. 10 to just name a few. In this episode, we offer our answer to the question a lawyer presented Jesus with one day long ago. He asked Jesus: Who is my neighbor? In response, Jesus told the lawyer and all of us who a neighbor is, but more importantly, how we are to be a neighbor. Our Lord then told the story of the man on the Jericho Road, and He gave the people of that day a lot to think about. We believe this wasn’t just for those people that day though, and because of this, we feel a need for all of us to be neighbors. This episode is challenging, convicting, and uplifting all at the same time… come study God’s Word with us today!

In this episode, we discuss two of the most important things that happen at salvation. We are reconciled to God, which means that our relationship with Him has been restored. Man who lives in sin is out of relationship with His Creator. Jesus reconciles us to God by His death on the cross. Because of this, we are also Adopted into the family of God. We had been the children of the devil, but now we have had such a change come into our life, we even changed families! This episode is a must for everyone, so come on… study the Word of God with us today!
