You and your buddies flip your collars, as the rain pours down.  You huddle under an awning as you finish your smokes.Life is good.  You are young, independent, and ready for trouble.    Then you head in to the bar.  the joint.  The dive.  It's your home away from home. Speaking of home, the bartender tells you that the police department called, and your house is on fire.  Then it occurs to you.  You aren't young.  You are 42.  And then occurs to you that you've left your children home along to go drink...

It is the second and final episode of our Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band mini season: track by track discussion of Darkness on the Edge of Town.

In the first installment we had an overview discussion of our history with E Street and their discog. In this episode we take a deeper dive into Bruce's 10 song long 1978 heart of darkness that contains many moments of joy as well.
