Pod of Greed (A Yu-Gi-Oh! podcast by 6 geniouses)

Hiya lads, It's been a while!

This episode was a long time in the making because basically; we are all out here dealing with having to live under capitalism.
When u [B]orking...
:/

While our regular Yugioh stuff is pretty easy to churn out, Actual Play content takes a lot of time to produce and to edit. We care a lot about this story, and want to take the time to make it easy to listen to, so if that means delays, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ! Rest assured, however, that we will finish this campaign at any cost!!

Anyways...

Are you ready for ELECTION DAY?

The 2B class representative for this year will be:

Yuuriko Yonekawa [ ]

Nagisa Nagaya [ ]

Goodbye, Virtual World! Hello, Alcatraz! (Not the prison.) Remember how Battle City still hasn't been resolved? What were we even doing for half a season? I'm already beginning to forget! Anyway, to catch up on lost time, let's have a Fortnite Battle Royale!

Watching: Episodes 122-124 (S3E25-27) of YuGiOh! Duel Monsters.

For our 69th (nice) episode, we decided to dedicate ourselves to discussing shipping and fan fiction. Elliot and special guest Audrey discuss some of the history behind yugioh's bizarre ship naming system, followed by a reading of 4 listener-submitted fanfics. This was a fun one!

THE FANFICS:

Ashes, by morg

All The Small Things, by Dirk Dammit

Taking Responsibility by Cassidy

Game Night by Jordan Canning

We're at NekoCon, in real life, in person, in the same room. We talked for a while. Live vicariously through us. Partake of our power.

I did not edit this. If we had to sit through three and a half hours of karaoke then you have to sit through an hour and fifteen minutes of whatever this is.

Love, Pod of Greed

Virtual World is over, and despite what Kaiba says, it was not a waste of our time and effort at all. Special Guest and Orange Groves host Riley Hopkins (@RevRyeBread) joins us in the final episodes of this arc, where we discuss a Fast and The Furious AU, the Dub Timeline Theory, and how Yugi is harboring a monarch and must regrettably be executed for being a sympathizer!

Watching: Episodes 120 and 121 (subtitled)/Season 3 Episodes 23 and 24 (english dub)

Hosts: Sarah, Dan, Elliott, and special guest Riley!

Visit us at twitter, tumblr, or on kaiba.online!

Folks, we are nearly at our destination! The virtual world arc is nearing its end and in celebration of that, Yugi and Noah decide to have a normal duel with a normal amount of life points and nothing is at stake. Gozaburo definitely doesn't show up as a scary sky ghost. The gang are able to formulate a plan to leave the virtual world without any difficulty. You love to see it!

Watching episodes 117, 118, & 119 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters.

With: Dan, Max, Argyle, and special guest Brooks!

This week we have a special episode for you!* Sarah interviews Derek, creator of Oddity High, the system we're using to run our Walden Academy AP

Find Oddity High on Twitter here, or on kickstarter here.

*Unfortunately the reason we are releasing this this week is because of some lost audio. Apologies for that..... :/

If you aren't a fan of the virtual world arc, then this episode is going to make you a believer! All the garbage we had to slog through to get to this point was worth it, because, folks? Kaiba. Say goodbye to your corporeal form, because the sheer power of the bond between Seto and Mokuba is enough to obliterate the human body.

Watching episodes 114, 115, & 116 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters.

With: Elliott, Max, Argyle, and special guest Olivia!

Shout out to the first 4 mins 20 seconds of this episode for being 10x better than the yugioh episodes we watched this week. Jen joins us in our quest to produce cursed content, and shows us how it's really done.

Oh also there was some duelling. A lot of it. And absolutely no rules were used.

The gang has a normal week. Hiroki plays polocrosse. Nagisa puts up campaign posters. Masahito subconsciously brings a killer monster into being. Atsuko invites the gang to the arcade.
