We discuss not only the differences in the emotional impact it can have on someone coming out, but on the person to whom one reveals personal information. If you've followed this journey, maybe you've heard some of this before. Or HAVE you? We'll never tell. Chastain is a relationship coach who has worked with individuals on plans to come out to friends and family as non-monogamous. She shares her best practice hopes for all.

America’s Sweetheart, Dolly Parton, has tried to stay relevant since the start of her career in the 1950s. She’s also tried to stay monogamous and faithful to one man. Her latest book, Dolly on Dolly, talks about some failures at both. She sometimes describes her marriage as “free and open.” She also says she doesn’t care if he flirts. She also calls women he has crushes on hussies. There’s a lot to unpack about Dolly, the woman, the myth, the legend. Obviously a podcast about kink and polyamory is the place for this to happen. Obvs. (PS. We don’t discuss her suicide attempt, that’s not for us. Go to some other podcast, please and thank you.)

Warning, Chastain goes on and on about her adoration and fetishization of Dolly the character. In this episode we break this documentary down, shed some tears, and question editing choices. We also objectify some titties and for that we are truly sorry. We hope to do better in the future.
