  • Ep 204: What If...? Review with Francisco Andrade (Full Spoilers)
What if...Marvel had a GOOD animated show for once? Just saying, it's been a while. I think Spectacular Spider-Man was probably the last one. Oh no, wait, forgot about Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes. Ooh, and M.O.D.O.K.! Yeah, it's stop-motion but it still counts. What were we talking about? Oh yeah, What If...?. Scott's joined by Francisco Andrade to delight in the weird and wonderful world of The Watcher and all the universe's he observes. Which is a little creepy frankly. What if the universe is taking a shower?

  • Ep 203: Y The Last Man with Showrunner Eliza Clark
A great show based on Scott's favourite graphic novel? Wow! Is there anything that could make Scott's day even better? How about talking with the showrunner Eliza Clark? Yep, that'll do it! Scott and Eliza discuss their love of the original graphic novel, the changes made in the adaptation process, and how real world developments influenced the show. Also the new Sandman trailer because how could they not?

  • Ep 202: Star Wars: Visions Review (Full Spoilers)
The kawaii is strong with this one! Scott is joined this week by the same guy he always goes to whenever anime comes up on this show, Mark Russell, to talk about Star Wars: Visions! And let me tell you, it's a goddamn wild ride from start to finish. I don't even know how to describe it frankly. One minute Joseph Gordon-Levitt is going all Jedi Rocks on us, the next Cream the Rabbit from Sonic is getting a lightsaber. And yes those two examples DO make sense in context!

Everybody was kung fu fighting! Scott is joined by AP2HYC writer Dylan Fine to talk about a spectacular return to form for Marvel after the disappointment of Black Widow, Shang Chi. • Ep 200: Powerpuff Girls Live Action Script Reading
200 episodes. What a wild ride! To celebrate, Scott is joined by two people who have helped make Podcapers grow and develop, Alex Mirabal and Mark Russell, to read the truly atrocious script for the Powerpuff Girls live action pilot. Hey, what else did you expect from this show? It's been a long road getting here, but we haven't done it alone. A massive thank you to everyone at AP2HYC, all our wonderful guests, and to every single Caper that listens to our show. We love you 3000!

  • Ep 199: Suicide Squad (2016) Audio Commentary
Let's celebrate the release of a great Suicide Squad movie by looking back at a terrible Suicide Squad movie! What can I say, we're kinda masochistic here on Podcapers. Scott's joined by Jillian Diblasio to watch the first, but thankfully not last, outing of Task Force X, and hopefully shed some more light on why it utterly fails.

  • Ep 198: The Suicide Squad Review with Francisco Andrade (Full Spoilers)
FUCKING FINALLY! It's not like we've been waiting for a good live action Suicide Squad for years now! And who better to join Scott in reviewing it than DC superfan, Alex Mira- wait, what? Alex isn't in this episode? Wow. Okay. Who is? Francisco Andrade? Alright then. They talk about the highs and- I'm sorry, it's just weird not having Alex in a DC related episode. I need time to process this. Just listen to the episode, I'm sure it's a good one.

AND I SAY! He-Man is back! The much anticipated Kevin Smith continuation is here and it's...good? Eh, kinda. Worth a watch I guess. Damn, just gave away the crux of the whole episode. Oh well, stick around and listen to Scott and Mark Russell talk about a show they watched based on another show they didn't. Or don't, I'm not going to tell you what to do.

There's never a bad time to talk about these kind of things, especially when you've got an actual, bona fide, smarty-pants™ on your podcast! Scott is joined this week by academic Elise Sandbach to talk about female representation in comics, the relationship comic creators have with their female audience, and other topics that are best explained by a Cis Man. He's an expert because he says he is!

  • Ep 195: Black Widow Review (Full Spoilers)
Well it's about damn time! The long awaited Black Widow prequel midquel standalone film is here. Was it worth the wait? Nope. Sorry Capers, this was a disappointing film. But does that make it a BAD film? Oddly enough, no. Scott is joined by Jillian Diblasio to talk about what should have been the easiest MCU film to get right, that turned out to maybe be it's weakest entry.
