This is the first episode of the TOPIC series that Randy Larsen and I are going to do from time to time.  It started out with our playlist episodes and evolved into this more formatted type of setup. 

Both of us were heavily influenced by the 90's record label Amphetamine Reptile. Bands like Helmet and Today is the Day Started out there and the vibe established my the label gave rise to some killer bands that pretty much existed in obscurity.  If you aren't familiar with this era in music check out the youtube playlist we put together.
