Governor Henry McMaster said that he would go to “the gates of hell” to fight for We The People of South Carolina, and I applauded him for it.

But when big business started mandating vaccines, denying We The People’s God-given Constitutional rights to the freedom of religion, and the freedom to choose what medical treatments we take, Governor McMaster, like most politicians, broke his promise to protect We The People of South Carolina, as hundreds of thousands of South Carolinians face losing their jobs right before Christmas.

We The People said no more and held our own “gates of hell” rally outside the capitol in Columbia, demanding that Governor McMaster do his job for We The People of the great state of South Carolina.

When he didn’t stand up for We The People, I said no more, and announced my candidacy for the Governor of South Carolina, along with ZOE Warren, my good friend and running mate for Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina.

Today was a special day for us here at Podcast 1854, we had the pleasure to host SC Rep Ashley Trantham and author of House Bill H.4608 Saving Women's Sports Act which passed in the House last night April 5th 2022. Ashley has been fighting for this for two years and last night all of her hard work paid off along with everyone else that helped along the way. I'm very grateful and honored that Ashley took the time as her day started first thing this morning to stop by the studio after an extremely long day and night in the House Chambers. Today Matthew Leber stop by the studio are out press conference at the StateHouse. Matthew is running in the 116th district, he has served our country and fought to keep us safe here back at home and now he's ready to go to the Statehouse and continue his fight for us. 

Matthew has pledge to be available and responsive to my constituents.  The people of the 116th are worthy of any sacrifice I make in order to be the best representative of their concerns and interests in Columbia, to back the blue and reject any attempt to Defund the Police. Johns Island, Edisto Island, Ravenel, West Ashley and other communities in the 116 th have a growing crime problem which is largely due to the Democrats demonizing and unjustly painting the entire law enforcement community as corrupt and immoral. Matthew also believes that parents are the primary stakeholders in their children's education and a critical part of the political process. Labeling parents as domestic terrorists for participating in the political process as stakeholders in their children's education is unconscionable. From Greg’s first breath, he has called South Carolina home. The majority of his education as well as his military enlistment was in South Carolina. Greg holds a solid foundation based on South Carolina values and traditions. It is his passion for South Carolina and District 98 that makes him committed to its preservation through proactive legislative action and policies. Greg is a third-generation active duty retired Air Force veteran, decorated for service during Iraq and Afghanistan combat operations where he served multiple tours. Greg amassed an impeccable record of success as a top-level military adviser and held many leadership positions in all levels of the military and contracting sector. As a military professional, he has traveled the world and spent time in 92 countries, while making friends with people of every race, creed, color, and background. One of Greg’s most memorable assignments was served in Pápa Hungary as a Senior Aviation Operations advisor in a NATO unit comprised of 12 Nations. Greg has also been a part of many of the most significant events in recent history which these momentous events has made a drastic impact on the world-wide stage and helped change the world.

Greg is a 2010 graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a B.S. in Professional Aeronautics and a 2018 graduate of the Citadel Military College with a Master of Science degree in Leadership. He is currently 9 credit hours from completing a Doctorate of Education degree in Leadership at Charleston Southern University.

During Greg’s down time he spends times with his wife of 25 years and their son and daughter. He enjoys time at his family’s farm caring and training his horses. When not working on the farm or studying, Greg seeks peace and tranquility outdoors enjoying activities such as hunting and fishing within the great state of South Carolina.

During Greg’s military career he learned and practiced negotiation skills daily, making decisions with honor, duty, respect, using innovative ideas. As a collaborator, Greg is respectful of others’ opinions, while ensuring all tasks, duties, and projects are completed in an efficient manner. Greg is well versed in change management, strategic planning, process improvement, conflict resolution and project management.
