Welcome to 2022! Let’s focus on becoming a better version of ourselves to be able to take good care of our loved ones and our surroundings. In order to get chances and opportunities we have to create them first. Live healthier and happier. I wish you nothing but the best because you deserve it.

I will be here with you all through 2022 and support you through the power of music and positivity. I’m looking forward to bringing you a year full of great new music, mixes, new gems, future classics, new artist picks, labels and a bunch load of positive energy. Now without further ado, let’s focus on the music in this very first podcast episode of 2022. If you missed out last week’s show. Dobro Tape 002.

Most of this week’s picks are coming from a few new various artist compilation albums. The brand new Dobro Tape 002 is out and available as a cassette. The Russian House music label features new and unreleased material from artists like: Buzz Compass, Leiba, Hotmood, Sune & Igor Gona, to just name a few I’m playing for you.

10 Yahre – Ava Records.

Then there also is the 10th anniversary of the German Ava Records label run by Damiano Von Erckert. The LP comes as a 4LP vinyl edition featuring 22 tracks from artists like: Cinthie, Tito Wun, Axel Boman, Ron Trent and more. When you order the 4LP compilation you’ll get a 30 pages printed magazine, a mixed CD, a textile keychain and some dope Ava Records stickers.

A new (side) podcast without music, but in-depth stories.

I’m also investigating the interest in a side-podcast which can be a separate podcast (without music) to feature more in-depth stories from the electronic music scene. Think of artist interviews, label spotlights. But also podcast talks with other people from the scene and subjects that matter music, DJing, equipment, how to’s etc. I would like to know how much interest there would be from the Dirty Disco community so please feel free to let me know through email or my socials if you would dig this.
