Show 134 – Ten out of ten – marks the tenth anniversary of the very first It’s A Frog’s Life Acoustic Podcast and I’m celebrating it by doing exactly the same as I’ve done for the last ten years, playing great independent and unsigned acoustic music from around the world. Amongst the ten tracks (there had to be ten, right?) are a number connected in one way or another with the number ten. Why? Well, why not!

Show 128 is my 8th podiversary show, celebrating eight years since I published Show 0 on 14th July 2006. I’m now what they call a seasoned podcaster and am one of only a handful of people who started podcasting in 2005/6 and are still podcasting today. For this show I’ve pulled together eight songs from the past eight years that I’ve particularly enjoyed playing. I hope you enjoy listening to them too.

Show 127 – Catching up – brings to an end a year in which I’ve only managed to get three editions of the show out. However, now that I’m more settled in my new job I’m hoping that by making shorter shows I’ll be able to get them out more often during 2014. Yeah, we’ll see…

Show 126 – Ding dong – No, this isn’t Avon calling, it’s a reference to a certain 52 second song that reached No 2 in the UK singles chart this week and which the controller of BBC Radio 1 didn’t have the guts to play in full. Yes, you might have noticed that Margaret Thatcher has passed away, and this show will be paying its own tribute with a very special song from Chumbawamba.
I’m no longer going to apologise for the long breaks between shows. New editions of the It’s A Frog’s Life Acoustic Podcast will come out as and when I can find time to do them. If you’re having withdrawal symptoms and want to hear my voice on a regular basis then you should be listening to the twice-monthly Liverpool Acoustic Spotlight!
