We develop our relationships with our loved ones by communicating on a day-to-day basis. It's the same way with God. You should want to have the communication with Him and make Him first in every moment of your every day. Start your day with prayer. God wants to answer your prayers. He really wants to love on you and show you what He has for you. You got to want these things by asking Him to come into your life, asking him to take the to give you direction, and asking him to break the things that you feel you cannot overcome.

I'm going to continue to teach on prayer. It is something that is needed in this season. We needed more of God and less of ourselves, especially where we are now with this pandemic. And so we know that a lot of us are going through situations and circumstances out of our control.

The Word of God says that we should pray without ceasing. That means to pray without stopping. Just continue to pray every day in communication with God. Pastor Paula's devotional on effective prayer helps you stay on track and have a greater understanding about having an effective prayer. Effective prayer is a vital to living a victorious life in Christ. In my time of prayer, I spend a lot of time asking God, the direction that he needs me to go. Let's talk about it.

In this episode, I wanted to share about a troubling experience I had this week. Encountering hate and racism is an ugly thing. The Bible says you cannot love God and hate your brother. (1 John 4:20-21) Of course, we are called to walk in love as Christians and shine light into the darkness to overcome evil. We are all one in Christ and do not divide ourselves based on any externalities such as skin color.

I have gotten through a lot of situations and circumstances in life. Today I would like to share a little bit of about the book I have been reading, "The Principle of Stewardship" by Pastor Paula White Cain. I came home recently and I started doing a study on stewardship because my husband and I are starting a business. We kind of wanted to put things in perspective and put things in order. Let me share with you some of my thoughts as I studied from my pastor.

With all the craziness that's happening in the world, fear should not overcome you at all. Do not let it control what you are feelings in your emotions. My whole agenda today is to talk to you guys about taking control of your peace and to be strong in spite of it all.
