Life was finally NORMAL to Moses! The mistakes and the murder of his younger days were behind him. He was a family man now with a wife and two sons. He had a successful and secure job working for his father-in-law. Yes, times were easy and stress-free. Then it happened – Jesus interrupted his NORMAL life and in asked, “May I have your attention, please?” Jesus caught his attention with a Burning Bush (Exodus 3:2). Moses stopped everything (Exodus 3:3) to see what was really going on. Can’t you feel what Moses must have felt? 2020 was NORMAL and by all indicator it was turning out to be a successful, UNSTOPPABLE Year! Then, Coronavirus hit, and everything came to a screeching halt. Oh, I believe Jesus Christ wants to get our attention and COVID-19 has done just that. Matter of Fact, Jesus has gotten the ATTENTION of the WORLD as more people will watch EASTER service this weekend globally than any other time in history. This weekend, EASTER won’t have to compete with Sports, Shopping, the Malls or any other Meetings. Since the Lord has gotten our attention, let’s give Him everything He’s asking for!

Since the Lord just want to meet you Face-to-Face and Change your Faith, Fight through this Night! Jesus Christ didn’t show up to fight against Jacob but to FIGHT FOR Jacob. Jesus Christ didn’t show up to defeat him but to DEVELOP him. He didn’t show up to crush him but to CHANGE him. He didn’t show up to beat him down but to BLESS him. Are you up for this fight?

Abraham had already been through much and yet he was about to go through his greatest test. Abraham had already shown great faith. Faith to leave his family. Faith to travel to a distant country. Faith to believe God for a son in their old age and Sarah’s barrenness. But now the greatest test. Would he SACRIFICE and give Isaac back to the Lord? Sometimes our FAITH will be tested. What a test our WORLD is going through right now! Can we put politics aside to solve problems? Can we SACRIFICE to stop the spread of a novel disease? Since a SACRIFICE moves the heart of God, trust God and make the sacrifice and God will SEE you through it!

Since Jesus is in CHARGE and will fight for you, get to know Him PERSONALLY and stay ENCOURAGED! During these times, you need to know the Lord for yourself! You can’t go on second-hand knowledge, or Big Mama’s faith. And when we know Him, we must stay encouraged! They are already talking about the long-term effect that COVID-19 is going to have mentally and emotionally on people. How did Jesus Christ introduce Himself to Joshua?

What a Night! Daniel being thrown into the lion’s den. It was unavoidable. Even the king, himself, couldn’t stop it from happening and he had tried all day (Daniel 6:14). It was unimaginable. Daniel would have to spend the night in the lion’s den (Daniel 6:16). It was unjust. Daniel had not done anything wrong. In fact, he had done all things well (Daniel 6:4). What do you do? How do you make it through the night? Let’s be honest. A NIGHT in the LION DENS can happen to any of us. A night of darkness, a night of disease (i.e. the Coronavirus), a night of distress. It’s so easy to feel afraid and alone, anxious and abandoned. But not so with Daniel! He survived it and I believe he got some sleep during the night. What was the key? FAITHFULNESS. Daniel had been FAITHFUL before the lions’ den, during the lions’ den, and even after the lions’ den. Since FAITHFULNESS will get you through the night, remain faithful and don’t change!
