Financial Peace University, Legacy Journey, and Generation Change will begin in the next few weeks.  Visit the small groups table after services to sign up for one of the four classes offered:  Financial Peace University: If you would like to learn biblically based lessons on controlling your finances there are two classes beginning soon; one in February and one in March.  If you would like to prepare your teen to be financially responsible, sign them up for Generation Change, beginning in March.  If you want to learn biblically based lessons on leaving a financial legacy, sign up for Legacy Journey, beginning in March.

Elder Affirmations

According to the Bylaws of Landing Place Church, prospective Elders' names are given to the members thirty days before affirmation and dedication, for the purpose of prayer and review.  Prospective Elders are Brian Dawson and Aaron Cordova.  Elders being reaffirmed are Reid DeWalt, Mark Barcelo, and Neal Peterson.  If there is concern surrounding the affirmation of a prospective Elder or reaffirmation of a current Elder, the individual member shall address that prospective Elder according to Matthew 18:15-17.  If the concern is not resolved, then the member is to share, in writing, with the existing Elder Council, these unresolved concerns about a prospective Elder Council to answer those concerns.  It becomes the responsibility of the Elder Council to answer those concerns.  Please express your concerns, in writing, directly to Pastor Greg Moore via letter or email ([email protected]).

Year-End Giving

To qualify as a 2016 deduction, year-end giving must be postmarked no later than 12/31/16.  If you leave it at the box by our office door, please write the date it was dropped off on the envelope (cannot be later than 12/31/16).  Online giving must be done by 3pm on 12/29/16 to be considered at 2016 deduction.
