  "I would like to recommend the book youk Like It Darker by Stephen King because I love how the book makes me feel so real and creepy. Each story takes you to a place that seems normal at first, but slowly turns darker and more unsettling. He creates an atmosphere where you can almost feel the tension in the air, like something bad is just around the corner. It's not just about scary moments, it's that slow buildup of fear that stays with you even after you finish reading the book."

  "I had read a lot of recommendations on Instagram from others and I had also read a lot of good reviews about this book and hence I picked this up. I really like the narration. I really like majority of the stories in the book. So the book is about paranormal experiences that the author has come across in his life and from the experiences that he has heard from others. Since it's a collection of short stories like, you know, there's no connection between one story and the other."

  "It's sort of no surprise that people have like a strong negative, negative appeal opinion of horror. Because, you know, a lot of the films that are released are the ones that maybe you'd go see with your friends on like a Thursday night when you're 13 years old. And it was so cool that you got to get into a PG13 movie like those. Those types of sort of schlocky things. In the case of these two guys, I don't think that that's the case."

  "One in a really immediate and violent way and one in a more slow but also violent way, although differently. The two. Two of them, as it turns out, love to fish. It's something that brings them sort of clarity and peace of mind, and they develop a friendship as they talk about fishing and then inevitably go fishing together. They hear about this place out by the Catskills called Dutchman's Creek. And it's said to be one of the best fishing spots ever."

  "That's something that I've always really appreciated about horror as a genre. You really don't know where things are going to go a lot of the time. Unlike your sort of conventional hero type flick, you know that the good guys are going to triumph in the end. That's not always clear with horror. And especially in the case of this year's film, the Substance, a movie that really kept me guessing till the very end."

  "The last horror film to genuinely terrify me was Nosferatu. I had the pleasure of going to the LA premiere last week, and it was downright horrific. Robert Eggers is just, I think, my favorite current horror director. He just manages to pack such a tremendous amount of dread into every single thing he does."

  "I can't say that they're not, because they are. I like the. The CGI and the way everything is with the new films a lot more clear and the. The villain gets. You know, they're better in a sense, but in the older ones, I feel like the jump scare is really good. It's like you are on the edge of your seat and you know something's going to happen, but you just don't know when it's going to happen."
