  • @pocketofstories | I dusted off the cobwebs in my mind, how sweet to find I have always been mine. - unknown

"I don't know who wrote this, but it's so impressive because come to think of it, from my perspective, cobwebs would be like the doubts, the confusion, the struggle with making a decision, the fear of facing the consequences of that decision. But what happens if you just let go of the doubt and see yourself for who you are? So the part where it says that I have always been mine just reflects that."

"We all have relationships with people and they all have this term. Friends, lovers, boyfriends, girlfriends, parents, siblings. So many of them. How many of them actually leave a deep impact on you? And how many of these people have just faded away because life took over and you just did not get time? And from both the sides, people just stopped connecting?"

  • @pocketofstories | What is the most painful thing that someone ever told you?

"So today I'm thinking that maybe I should share this with you and invite you to share something that was so painful to you so that you can share that burden of your mind and let us help you heal from that. For me, personally, the most painful thing that I have been told is that I am not valued by my family, that I am not at an equal standing with them, and that they looked down upon me. The person who said this was someone really close to me."

  • @pocketofstories | This is what I like about photographs - they're proof that once, even if just for a heartbeat, everything was perfect.- Jodi Picoult

"The way I see it, we usually click photographs to capture happy moments, something very precious, something that's really captured our curiosity, something we want to treasure in time so that we have that opportunity to go back and look at that photograph and relive our happy moments. But these days, people also go about capturing their various emotions as well. Photographs as proof for scenes of crimes. Photographs to capture nature's violent reaction. Photographs to capture a rare event. Anything for me."

"Good morning, swell listeners. It's a beautiful Monday morning. Monday, yes. I have to get ready and leave for work, but I woke up and chose to sit down for a moment to appreciate how beautiful nature is and how subtly the weather changes. Just a few days back it was so hot and you notice the change with days getting shorter and the nights getting longer, but no change in the temperature. And now it's so early in the morning."

"Most days blur into nights and both are here. It's a cycle of emptiness so deep it scares me. But sometimes, just sometimes, there are tiny moments of warmth, moments of love, moments of laughter. They are fleeting and they feel far away, but they are the only things that keep me here. Still, loneliness eats away at me. I feel unloved, like there is this bottomless pit inside me that nothing can fill."

"A collection of emotions. He opened the door to his bedroom, dropping his bag on the floor, and walked to the full length mirror, his eyes sparkling, the little fairy lights reflecting. He was happy. The time spent playing with his little niece uplifted his soul. The innocent smile and the cute laughter warmed his heart. He placed his hand on his heart and closed it only to open and reveal a pink bow. Today's emotion was happiness."

"Hi, swell listeners. I hope you're enjoying a lovely Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon, and in my case, Sunday evening, because Monday is going to begin soon. But I actually wanted to talk about something that I thought of when I attended a session conducted by a transformational philosopher. The question is, where is my happiness?"
