"But I don't know if that's because I'm a prude by nature when it comes to that kind of thing. He's in an automotive dealership, and I think their language and things are a little bit different than what I'm used to. You know, I come from worlds where we're very careful about language and behavior and decorum and all of that business. So I don't know what that was. What the heck was that? So that's what happened to me today."

"That was a really fun catch up. So Nicole mentioned Kitty Flowers grand opening today, which I'm just, you know, so excited because it brought back memories of, of working at the Ward foundation. And they've always been so supportive and have been a huge part of my, that work life. So I'm really, really excited about that. And there's something beautifully vulnerable about just admitting how much a new friendship can affect us. Even at this stage in my life."

Oh, and the food was great. I normally don't eat because I'm too busy talking and socializing. So this time I got there, I hit the food."

Click here to reply to @OnAcornBay

"The wisdom that comes with experience teaches us that the biggest breakthroughs often happens at intersection of different viewpoints, different skills, different approaches. And this isn't to say that competition disappears entirely at the top, but it transforms. It becomes less about outdoing others and more about outdoing ourselves, about pushing the boundaries of what is possible. When we work together, the focus shifts from individual achievement to collective achievement, from personal glory to shared progress. Perhaps this is one of the most valuable lessons."

It's like a constant fasting. I've had some protein shakes in between. I did yogurt once or twice. Just couldn't get with that."

A moment taken to truly listen when someone speaks. These aren't mere formalities or empty performances, but rather the subtle acknowledgement that we share this world with others deserving of our care and attention. Good morning and welcome to the Daily Acorn."

It's about how we found ourselves here in this moment where reproductive healthcare access varies dramatically depending on which state you call home. That is the conversation that is on deck. How did we get here? Finding our way forward. They tell us nothing was really taken away."

And as a new person, I'm listening, and I kind of got a little bit caught up in that. And I had to really take a step back and check myself and realize who I am and make some atonements there."
