  "This is a story from Shiv Puran. Once Narad Muni went to the Himalayas to meditate on Shivji. He chose a cave which was beautifully placed near the Ganga River. He sat there and meditated as his meditation grew. Indra got scared that he will take over his throne. So he sent Kamdev to disturb his penance. But Kamdev, despite all his efforts could not disturb Narad Muni's penance. The reason was that that area was the area or Kshetra where Shivji himself had meditated."

  "The introduction in itself, it built up a curiosity in my eager mind about how the rasas could be so easily understood through these stories, which are not just interesting, but also teach us so much about the ways of life. As a literature student myself, the rasas and these concepts, these are things that we study as part of our syllabus. And so when I got a chance to explore this outside of my syllabus, I was genuinely curious."

  "So the introductory note, it was really, really decent and it opens up the text in a much, much better manner, I would say. Talking about the divinities. In the first section or like the first page as I may call it, it talks about the incarnate, the practically incarnate, connecting nature, talking about Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati on really, really nice notes wherein they talk about raven rage and famine that took place, water becomes horse and everything moving ahead."

  "But the introduction in this book much, much, much useful, if you like, personally, as an advice, read the introduction as well. Because the introduction will help you understand a lot of the key Concepts that will enable you to experience the Rasa theory within this book in much more deeper and contemplative way. Furthermore, I would also like to state that honestly, out of all of the divine relationships we have, my favorite has to be Ravana and Mandotari's relationship."
