  "While Candle in the Wind is undoubtedly a powerful and thought provoking collection filled with raw emotion and unsettling truth, I personally found that I could not relate to many of the experiences or emotions shared in the story. The book actually brings to light harsh and painful realities, especially the violence, injustice and trauma that many women and young girls have been forced to face."

  "I honestly feel heartbroken for what they had to endure. No child should carry that kind of pain. Childhood is supposed to be a time of joy, play and learning, not fear, silence and survival. Their stories have stayed with me since I read it, and I think it always will. It's opened my eyes to a reality I didn't know enough about, and I hope I never forget what I read."

  "When I was asked which story from Candle in the Wind made me rethink my childhood, my first thought was none of them. I didn't relate to Madhavi's story of abuse, or Harshita's tragic life in the orphanage, or even the horrifying case of the serial killer. My childhood was safe, ordinary and even happy. But as I turned the pages, I realized maybe that's exactly the point. This book is not just about finding pieces of yourself in the stories."

  "But like in the specific story if I tell about it's one educated woman and she is after the marriage she is unable to conceive and that led to the pressure by her in laws. And do you know what happened like till here you will be like there is no crime. But yes, the actual crime was done by that woman who was pressurized by her in laws into kidnapping a baby from a hospital. Yeah, a crime but born from societal expectations and cruel family pressure."
