What do you have that can bless your community in a time of crisis? For Josh Imhoff, director of YWAM Emerge in Colorado Springs, the answer was lettuce. As in 2,700 heads of lettuce that he and the ministry could no longer sell due to the coronavirus pandemic.
So Josh and his team felt called to give them away. Today on the BreakPoint Podcast, Josh tells Colson Center President John Stonestreet how he came to that decision, how he and his team pulled it off in a matter of days, and the community’s overwhelming response.
It’s an amazing story, and a marvelous example of the church being the church, of the church “running into the plague” in times such as these.
