Pastor Mick takes us on our third look at specific Old Testament Heroes. This time is part 1 of Isaiah, from Isaiah 6:1-11. Mick introduces Isaiah by taking us on a fast forward tour of the Jewish history overview from Hero #1, Abraham, to apx. 1400 years later with Isaiah. We see Isaiah's call to serve in chapter 6, with many practical applications about our service to our Lord Jesus.

In this study, Pastor Mick takes us on the next phase of Moses' call - to address Pharaoh directly ten times. The first nine times result in him being scorned and rejected by the King. The tenth time, with the plague of the firstborn's death and Passover, he and the people are expelled and headed toward freedom. Mick compares their physical deliverance to the spiritual deliverance we have through Christ.

This is session 08 in Pastor Mick's series, "God's Incredible Word." In it, Pastor Mick continues looking at the Old Testament hero Abraham. We walk thru parts of Gen. 17 & 22 to see the great Abraham be blessed, negotiate with God, then be tested in a most unusual and horrific way. We see the Man of Faith begin to see the fulfillment of the promises of God, while his obedience and faith grow exponentially.

This is session 07 in Pastor Mick's series, "God's Incredible Word." In it, Pastor Mick introduces a few Old Testament "heroes" we will look briefly at. The first is Abraham and Mick takes us thru parts of Gen. 12 & 15 to see the call, the covenant, and the imperfect great man of faith. We leave enriched and powerful Abe with a son, Ishmael, who turns out to not be the special heir God promised.

This is session 06 in Pastor Mick's series, "God's Incredible Word." In it, Pastor Mick introduces the basic organization of the New Testament. He also shares how the New Testament is a continuation and conclusion of the two major themes of the Old Testament. Specifically, (1) How God resolves the problem of man's separation from fellowship through substitutionary sacrifice, and (2) God's plan to restore His hands on reign to the Kingdom Adam forfeited to Satan back in the Garden of Eden. Jesus being both the True Sacrifice and the True Coming King.

In this video, Jacob and Pastor Mick dialogue about Jacob's past and his coming to Christ. After the Osife family is dedicated by prayer, Pastor Mick then shares briefly from Colossians 1, celebrating how God redeems broken people thru Christ.

He then takes a brief tour thru the structure of the O.T. and parks in Genesis 3 as we see the fall of sin, and the impossibility of man's ability to provide an adequate solution, ergo, the need for Redemption.
