Pastor Mick puts a final footnote on our study thru the gospel of Mark with a final visit in Luke 24. This study focuses on Jesus' preparation of His disciples to go into all the world to spread the gospel. They were intellectually ready, but needed something - specifically the power and filling of the Holy Spirit to empower their ministry. This study addresses that promise and plan even for us.

Pastor Mick completes the study thru the Gospel of Mark with a final study, "Commissioned". In this study we see the heart of the commission Jesus gives to His disciples ... and to us. Go ... To All ... Proclaim the gospel is the simple directive as the disciples are commissioned with this incredible privilege of helping other find new life in Christ.

Pastor Mick continues his detailed look at the day of Christ's resurrection, focusing on the evening encounter of the Risen Jesus with the ten disciples, from Mark 16 & John 20. In this encounter, the disciples cross the line from believing about Jesus, to believing the fullness of the death, burial, and resurrection. Mick specifically points out the "breathing on" of Jesus moment and the resulting indwelling and born-again life in the Spirit it produced.

Pastor Mick Catron shares a special message upon our return from almost 11 months out of our building during the fire-related renovations, "Four Lessons From The Fire", about God working in and thru His people thru various trials.

"When God Says Move" - Acts 8. Assistant Pastor Jason Johnson shares the amazing story of Phillip in Acts 8 - how that persecution led him to Samaria where a revival breaks out, and the the Lord suprisingly sends him from there to a deserted road near Gaza. Jason shares how this strange move, pulling Phillip away from a good ministry, resulted in the gospel permiating yet another continent.

"Resurrection Day - The Afternoon" - Mk. 16:9-13 and Luke 24. Pastor Mick Catron takes us through the events of the afternoon on the day of Jesus' resurrection. We see the short trip of the two disciples to Emmaus, Jesus appearing incognito to discuss the events of the weekend with them on the way, and the surprise revelation to them of Jesus alive as He broke bread. Mick also walks us through some incredible highlights of some OT scriptures pre-shadowing the Messiah's suffering that Jesus himself may well have shared in this traveling Bible Study with the two.

"Jesus Is Alive - pt. 1 - Early Morning" - Mk. 16:1-8. Pastor Mick's part 1 study of the Resurrection Day of Jesus. In this study we Mick takes us through sections of Mk. 16; John 20; and Luke 24, to connect the dots of the events of early Resurrection morning. Next study will pick up the events of Resurrection afternoon and evening. Today we see the women who were the first to learn and believe His rising, as well as the slow-of-heart team of disciples who were slow to believe.

"The King Is Buried" - Mk. 15:39-47. Pastor Mick's study thru Mark. In this study we see three surprising men who make public confessions for Christ when they all had much to potentially lose - The Roman Centurion, Joseph of Arimathea, and Nicodemus.

Mk. 15:22-39. Pastor Mick Catron teaches thru Mark's account of the crucifixion of Christ. Mark presents a staccato-type list of 13 statements to emphasize certain details of the crucifixion. Mick takes us thru each, with special emphasis on the peoples' hateful reactions to Jesus, and how it can change when confronted with God's love and truth.
