For those who may have missed this film, seriously WTF is wrong with you. The Babadook explores a young woman and her child as they are haunted by an evil entity that comes alive from a children's story. This film is haunting and also very meta for those of us who struggle with grief. Stop reading this review and go watch this film...Seriously go watch it... There are just some movies that are beyond conventional understanding. Most people think all kaiju movies fall into this category, but then they haven't seen some of the shit we have. The Scream Queen gets her revenge as the Old Man hates spiders, and this film has a rather large one, like the size of a dog. A young woman and her children encounter this vile creature while taking care of an elderly man. The bad news is..it's hungry! If you have a fear of spiders this movie will certainly trigger you.

If you are a fan of Halloween Festivals with scare zones and haunted houses, you will LOVE this film. Watch as a group of teens find themselves at Blood Fest, a fun night of spooks and scares, only to find that the terror is real and that the actors are trying to kill EVERYONE there. This is little gem was brought to us by the Tea Monster so you can thank him if you like it. If you don't then keep your trap shut!

Who doesn't like Vampires? And I'm speaking of the Nosferatu creepy looking ones and not that sparkly bullshit. From the Dark finds a couple in the countryside who get stranded and must survive the night from a Vampire who is allergic to ALL light. Many people don't know that not only did the French give us fries, but they gave us a great new movement in horror; the French Extremist movement of the 2000s. These movies are wickedly intense and they push the limits of what audiences can handle in their horror. Today the gang reviews one of the first entries in this movement, High Tension and it is NOT for the faint of heart. Will Rebekah rage quit after this messed up film? This little hidden gem came out of nowhere and I will honestly say it's one of the biggest surprises of SpookFest so far. If you dig small little movies that give you more than one jaw dropping WTF moments then you NEED to watch End Trip. It's also good safety advice for those of us who UBER quite a bit!
