This week I have a very special episode with my 90 year old grandma, Doris Power.

This Thanksgiving I visited all of my mom's family in Kingman, Arizona, a small town with a population of 35,000 people. I thought I would take the opportunity to sit down my grandma for her first ever interview and learn more about her life.

I wanted to create a bit of a time capsule for future generations, to ask her about her legacy, and what she has learned over the years.

I came away with a lot to reflect on and a deep feeling of gratitude that I was able to record this conversation in grandma's living room.

Kole Whitty is a serial entrepreneur, public speaker and the co-host of The Psychedelic Coach podcast. She is also the co-founder of The Condor Approach with her husband Tah Whitty which is a series of books and live events, and a methodology for integrated healing with psychedelic experiences.

After a near-death experience in which she was hospitalized she became the poster child for the D.A.R.E. program and Partnership For A Drug-Free America speaking on substance abuse around the world on TV, on news stations, at military conferences, and in universities and schools all over the country.

At the height of this fame she was answering hundreds of emails every day, preaching "once an addict, always an addict," and doing her best to console families who were hurting.

Then one day she realized her story was being weaponized to stoke fear and started to see the value in people responsibly using psychedelics for healing and growth, and her life has never been the same since...

Ajit Nawalkha is a bestselling author, speaker, former CEO at Mindvalley, and the Co-Founder & current CEO of Evercoach.

He has a very long list of accolades but I really wanted to interview him because he is hands down the most abundant and successful person I know, not just in business, but ALL areas of life.

Ajit grew up in India living in a house with an extended family of 23 others where space and money were scarce and today he travels all over the world and I've had the pleasure of meeting his proud parents when he flew them into Austin, TX.

I've worked with him for a few years now on filming multiple video courses, tons of YouTube videos, live events… and of course, podcast interviews.

This week I'm reviewing episode "Darin Olien On The Toxic Products That Are Destroying Your Health (And The Planet)" on The Rich Roll Podcast from May 8th, 2023. Do you ever stop and think about how many chemicals and what chemicals you are eating, breathing in, and absorbing through your skin? This podcast blew my mind after learning more about PFAS, microplastics, bisphenols, and phthalates. There are really 3 central ideas here: #1 There are some man-made harmful chemicals, some of which are introduced to you before you are even born in the womb, that will stay with you inside your body forever. #2 In our modern society they are completely unavoidable and most of the global population has them in their blood. #3 Instead of products being thoroughly tested to see if they are safe FIRST, we're living in a world where the products are RELEASED first and THEN if there are too many health issues maybe they'll be investigated. In this episode I do a real deep dive trying to wrap my head around all of this and my takeaways might surprise you.
