Title: What Remits Our Sins
Speaker: Pastor Graeme Hazledine
Date: 23rd June 2024

Title: You Belong
Speaker: Pastor Steve Carr
Date: 23rd February 2025
Location: Bendigo, Australia

In this episode, the message from Luke 15 reminds us of the deep assurance that comes from belonging to the Lord. We are not defined by what we do or how we feel, but by what Christ has done for us through His sacrifice and the gift of the Holy Spirit. We have been adopted into God’s family, accepted, forgiven, and called His own.

Through parables and scriptures, this talk highlights the joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, the security of our adoption as sons and daughters of God, and the unity we share as members of the body of Christ. No matter our past, weaknesses, or doubts, the Spirit within us testifies that we are redeemed, highly favoured, and part of God’s family.

3 Key Takeaways:

• Belonging to the Lord is not about our worthiness, but about Christ’s sacrifice and the assurance of the Holy Spirit.

• God has adopted us as His children, highly favoured and redeemed, with an eternal inheritance in Christ.

• Every member of the body of Christ is necessary, valued, and united — we belong together in Him.

Title: Ruling Over Your Own Spirit
Speaker: Pastor Steve Murphy
Date: 27th April 2025
Location: Medway, UK

This episode draws from Proverbs to explore what it means to rule our spirit. Using examples from scripture and life, the talk highlights how self-control, humility, and patience are greater victories than outward success. Stories of David, Joseph, and others illustrate the dangers of pride, foolishness, and self-righteousness, while also pointing to the lasting power of God’s mercy and forgiveness.

Listeners are encouraged to reflect on the driving forces within—such as anger, cowardice, or laziness—and to let the Lord shape their thoughts and actions. True strength is found in yielding to God’s wisdom rather than trusting in self-confidence.

3 Key Takeaways:

• Ruling your spirit is a greater victory than winning any outward battle.

• Self-righteousness and unchecked pride can lead to downfall, but humility invites God’s mercy.

• God’s forgiveness restores and sets us free, teaching us to walk wisely and patiently.

Title: Find The Truth In God's Word
Speaker: Pastor Ben Smith
Date: 20th July 2025
Location: Vancouver, Canada

This episode focuses on the power of God working in our lives through His Spirit, especially in a world filled with confusion, misinformation, and distraction. The speaker contrasts the uncertainty of modern life—shaped by technology, media, and conflicting voices—with the unchanging truth and peace that come from God’s Spirit.

Drawing from Proverbs, Philippians, and other scriptures, the message emphasizes that the real battle is not of the mind but of the heart. When we give our hearts to God, He provides discernment, peace, and stability that human reasoning alone cannot achieve. The talk concludes with a reminder of the biblical foundation of salvation: repentance, water baptism, and receiving the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

3 Key Takeaways

• The world offers confusion, but God offers peace and clarity through His Spirit.

• The true solution to anxiety, division, and doubt begins with giving our hearts to God, not just reasoning with our minds.

• Salvation is found in repentance, baptism, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit, confirmed by speaking in tongues as experienced in Acts 2.

Title: And They Overcame
Speaker: Peter Nankivell
Date: 3rd August 2025
Location: Adelaide, Australia

Revelation 12:11 sets the tone: believers conquer “by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” The Bible shows that Jesus’ sacrifice has already secured victory over sin and death, inviting listeners to stand in that confidence.

Drawing on Ephesians 2 and 1 John 5, we learn how Christ’s blood bridges the gap between humanity and God and how the Holy Spirit empowers us to live as overcomers. Genuine testimony, shared truthfully and backed by the Spirit, spreads the gospel and strengthens faith, while valuing eternity above temporary comfort fulfils the call to “love not our lives unto the death”.

Key Takeaways:

1. Victory is secured by Christ’s blood, not self-effort.
2. A truthful, Spirit-filled testimony is a powerful witness.
3. Overcomers prize eternal life over present ease and follow Jesus boldly.

Title: Look Up
Speaker: Pastor Chris Kernahan
Date: 3rd August 2025
Location: Adelaide, Australia

Hebrews 12 urges believers to lift their eyes from today’s pressures—mental-health fears, world turmoil—and fix them on Jesus, “the author and finisher of our faith.” By trading burdens for faith-fuelled vision, we run our race with purpose and expectancy. The talk traces God’s promise-filled skyline: the rainbow of Genesis, the pillar of cloud and fire in Exodus, and the woman healed by touching Christ’s garment—all vivid reminders that hope comes when we look up. The episode closes with a clear call to repentance, baptism and Spirit-filled living as we await Christ’s return.

Key Takeaways

1. Shift your gaze: Exchange anxiety for confidence by focusing on Jesus’ imminent return.
2. Remember God’s signs: From rainbows to pillars of fire, Scripture showcases tangible proofs of His covenant and care.
3. Act on faith: Like the woman who touched Jesus’ robe, respond to challenges by reaching out in belief—salvation and healing follow.

Title: Active In The Lord
Speaker: Pastor Simon Pearce
Date: 2nd March 2025
Location: Perth, Australia

In this episode, our speaker draws from Luke 21, Matthew 25 and the Book of Acts to show why Spirit-filled believers are meant to do more than attend meetings. We recharge in fellowship, but we’re called to lift our heads, speak the gospel and serve as true ambassadors for Christ as the world edges toward its final chapter.

Using the parable of the talents, Paul’s dramatic conversion and Israel’s crossing of the Red Sea, he reminds us that God equips every believer, expects growth and makes a way when obstacles loom large. The challenge is clear: stay alert, lean on His power and stay active in the Lord until His return.

Key takeaways

1. The Holy Spirit equips us to act, not sit—share the gospel wherever you go.

2. Faith grows when we invest our “talents” rather than hiding them.

3. God parts seas for those who step forward; courage follows obedience.

Title: Unity and Cohesion in The Fellowship
Speaker: Pastor Chas Hilder
Date: 29th June 2025
Location: Adelaide, Australia

In this episode, we explore the four parables from Luke 15—the lost sheep, the lost coin, the lost son, and the upset brother. These stories illustrate how people can stray from fellowship in different ways, but also how the Lord and His church respond when they return. The speaker shares practical examples and personal stories that reflect how vital it is to actively seek the lost and to welcome them back with genuine joy.

The message continues with a reminder that our love must be sincere, without partiality or judgment. Drawing from Romans, James, and Acts, the talk highlights unity in the church, regardless of background or past decisions. Whether someone is newly saved, returning after time away, or simply in need of support, our response should be one of mercy, not criticism.

3 Key Points:

• The four parables reveal different ways people can be lost—and how we are called to respond.

• Our love for one another should be genuine, without judgment or favoritism.

• Unity in the church means embracing all who seek the Lord, regardless of their journey.

Title: Two Things To Worry About
Speaker: Pastor John Joske
Date: June 2025
Location: Gold Coast, Australia

In this episode we unpack the clear choices God presents throughout scripture: blessing or curse, obedience or disobedience, life or death. Drawing from Deuteronomy, 1 Kings, and New Testament passages, the message encourages listeners to make a wholehearted commitment to follow God—without compromise or trying to live both ways.

The talk highlights how many today, like in Elijah’s time, want the benefits of serving God while holding on to worldly choices. But Jesus made it clear—you can’t serve two masters. From the Garden of Eden to the church in Revelation, the pattern remains: God offers blessing to those who obey and cleave to Him.

3 Key Takeaways:

• God sets before us a simple but vital choice: life and blessing, or death and cursing.

• You cannot live with divided loyalty—serving both God and the world is not an option.

• Cleaving to God and obeying His word is the key to long-term spiritual blessing and direction.
