Today on the BreakPoint Podcast, we present John Stonestreet’s presentation at the recent Touchstone conference, “Fight or Flight? The Benedict and Other Options for Facing the World, the Flesh, and the Devil?”

In his address, John focuses on the legacy of Dutch theologian Abraham Kuyper and the contributions he can make to the Benedict Option approach to culture. John reminds us that we are only at a particular moment in the grand story of the Creator and His creation. For Kuyper, our understanding of the moment and our approach to culture has to be grounded in the overall narrative of creation, fall, redemption, and restoration. And that narrative is summed up in the Truth of all reality: Christ is risen.
