Podcast - The Greg Lancaster Show, Live from the Glory Zone.

John, Pat, and Steve have an insightful conversation of the gifts and talents that God created us with. The Bible shares an account of how God responds to those who effectively use what they have been given and those who do not. Before we can be faithful with what we have been given, we must know what that is. Often times, we can be unaware of our gifts in our lives. It can be those abilities that simply come natural to us, those talents that we think nothing of. By seeing what others are gifted and talented with, we can encourage them to pursue and grow in those areas to be able to advance the Kingdom of God. When we stand before Jesus Christ, we want to hear those encouraging words, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” - Matthew 25:2. Find out how you can learn what the talents and gifts are in your life, how to grow in each of them, how to apply them to the Kingdom, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: music, mathematics, doctors, parents, algebra, cemeteries, prisons, and faith.

The Importance of Beholding Jesus

Steve, John, and Pat have an encouraging conversation about the importance of beholding Jesus. What we set our gaze on, what we set our focus on, is what we will become. Over 25 years ago, Rick Joyner wrote the prophetic book, The Harvest and much of what was written is currently taking place in the world today. Much of the truths that are shared are applicable to the Body of Christ.

“There has been a fundamental deception promulgated throughout the body of Christ which has tried to focus our attention on who we are in Christ instead of who He is in us. We don’t need to know who we are in Him, but when that becomes our emphasis we will never become who He has called us to be. We are not changed by seeing ourselves. It is by beholding His glory that we are changed into His image, which is the image the church is called to bear.”

This is so important when we think about the present days that we are in and the shakings that are taking place in the Earth. When Peter responded to the voice of Jesus, he was able to step out of the boat and onto the water, because his eyes were fixated on Jesus. God desires a work to be done in our hearts, and that will be carried out the greatest when our gaze and attention is fixated on the Cross of Christ. Be greatly encouraged as you learn how, in these tumultuous days, you can be more and more like Christ each day, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: abiding, motorcycles, Steve Hill, cameras, The Harvest, and faith.

Will You Stand in the Day of Persecution? - She gave birth in Chains, Meriam Ibrahim’s Interview

John, Pat, and Steve share that since the birth of the Church, there has been persecution coming against it. In the book of Acts, Stephen was stoned to death, an evil emperor, Nero, would set Christians on fire simply to be able to see his garden at night. Today, there is a wave of persecution coming against the Body of Christ throughout the world that has not been seen before. In Rick Joyner’s book, The Harvest, he highlights the coming persecution against the church that will cause a great falling away. Joyner continues to share how he believes this is God’s process to purge the church.

When President Obama took the office of Presidency of the United States, his first speech was in Egypt at Cairo University. Members of the Muslim Brotherhood were invited and welcomed, while then President of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak was not in attendance. Through a sequence of events, Mubarak was removed from leadership and Mohamed Morsi was brought into power. Upon this transition of power, there was an immediate persecution of Christians in the nation. Pastor Saeed Abedini still remains in an Iranian prison, all for his faith in Jesus Christ.

In the midst of these events, Miriam Ibrahim, a Christian in Sudan, was also imprisoned for her faith in Jesus Christ and for her refusal to deny Jesus. Miriam is now safely within the United States.
