Greg, John, and Pat discuss the importance of educating people on human trafficking and the need for it to be stopped. They continue to discuss how Brazil will host the 2014 world cup and with that are expecting approximately half a million visitors to the country. Unfortunately soccer is not the only thing they are coming for. It is reported that websites are offering airline and world cup tickets in addition are making available sex from a child or woman who is being trafficked. At the moment there are nearly 1 million children and women that are being trafficked around the world. In hopes of stopping the abuse of any trafficked victims at this year’s World Cup in Brazil a documentary film is being produced by Operation Blessing to educate people of this plight. They continue to encourage us to do all that we can to stop this evil. They encourage us to pray, give financially and work with ministries and organizations like Exodus Cry and Operation Underground Railroad as these organizations are helping to free women and children that are being used as sex slaves. Much is being done to put an end to this atrocity but they continue to urge us to be vigilant and not forget those who are still in captivity.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss a video called “Look Up” which addresses the social media craze that has left a majority of people addicted to their smart phones all the while missing opportunities to experience real life. Many people today are addicted to virtual things instead of reality. Today we have bought into a narrative that allows our life not only to be documented but tracked as well. There are no true relationships anymore and many have settled to believe that because their social media page says they have “x” number of friends that those “friends” are real. The video and poem are done so creatively and make such a poignant point. We have dumbed down our lives so that we can have smart phones and perceive connectivity in our hands. Many people today are totally disconnected from real relationships. Most don’t have their own wisdom or knowledge and most of what they know came from a piece of technology that was connected to the internet. The church is no different and is experiencing the loss of marriage and family relationships. They caution us to be in charge of technology. Don’t submit to technology, make technology submit to you. Life is very short, unplug and look up and pursue meaningful relationships and truly begin to experience a real life not one that is made up of virtual connections.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss the touching speech NBA, Most Valuable Player, Keven Durant of the Oklahoma Thunders shared. His speech was so touching as often times many people forget where they have come from and take pride in their success and the blessings they have been given. In a seven minute speech Kevin spends 4:59 seconds talking about his mother. He shares about their struggle and all the wonderful things she did for him and his brother so they could make it. They continue to discuss how often times we believe the lie that what we have to say to someone is not that meaningful or significant and so we say nothing. Kevin takes time in his acceptance speech to mention how a brand new player to the team put a note in his locker that said Kevin Durant MVP after some especially difficult games. He expressed how much that meant to him. Most of all Kevin in humility continues to share how his mother is the real MVP. Greg and John both share from personal experience how remembering what people have done for them and looking back historically has helped them to enjoy the moment all the more because it just doesn’t happen. We celebrate all the moms and all they have done.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how God is about to iron the wrinkles out of America. They continue to discuss Rick Joyner’s most recent prophetic bulletin and how it lines up with some of the things they have been shown. Rick discusses the four world views that are prevalent in America today. They are a Christian world view, Islamic world view, secular world view and a Marxist world view. Rick shares that outside of third great awakening we are headed toward violence in America. It’s important to look at the Word of God. Any nation that is divided will fall. Our nation was founded on Christian and Judeo values and the word of God. However, Christians are not to push their view on a land. The kingdom of God is not about a location but rather a revelation. They kingdom of God is within us we are not trying to establish it here on earth. You can’t force someone into a relationship. They continue to share how at one point they saw people pull out their guns. We are supposed to lay our lives down. We are going to go through some difficulties and God is going to have to iron out the wrinkles from America. They further discuss how the Spirit of God revealed to them that America would be under physical attack. They also saw Islamists coming against America with irons. Often times God will use people that are out of control to get His people back in control. Then He will go back and deal with them. It is time to get prepared and they encourage us to listen to “Prudent Preparation” as a way to be prepared. They also encourage us to read and study the Bible. One thing we learn about history is that people don’t learn from history and mess up again because people often have reacted with mob mentality.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how we are soon to be facing times that test men’s souls. They encourage us to cry out for God’s grace. Jesus has already saved the world you just have to accept Him. There is a grace that God supplies to you so that you don’t have to leave your post. At the same time there are those who are trying to save their ungodly businesses from destruction. They should just stay destroyed. The Barna Group says 97% of people don’t even read their Bible and only 3% of Christians actually honor God with their tithes. If we get our act together and turn back to God we may be sparred. We will be blessed when we turn back to God. They encourage us to shake off everything that makes our flesh feel good. They continue to discuss how sudden disaster comes upon one’s life. God does not delight in disaster but instead delights in the turning of our hearts to Him. God wants to save your souls and fulfill your destiny. We are at the very beginning of the testing of men’s souls more than ever it is important to understand the blessing of God on our life and on our nation and respond to him appropriately. They continue to discuss how often times we enable folks. Many times the prodigal son is taken care of by people and he or she never feels the full extent of their sin. The church is not a first aid station. The church is an extension of the love of God in hopes that people’s eyes would be open to turn to Him. Our prayers should be “Dear Lord if you ever entrust me with provision again I will use it for your glory.”

The Lord showed him details regarding the attack that would come to America at a time in which she was very vulnerable. Greg shares how the Lord showed him that we are going to be in for a physical battle. He saw the navy base attacked as well as people dressed in radical Islamic garb. Greg also shares about a tornado that he was shown that many did not pay attention to because of its small size at first but then suddenly the tornado that was in the air falls crashing down to the ground and turns to water. This physical aspect of the battle coming to America will be so tragic that it will take an airline to transport the corpses all around the nation. They even discussed what Brett saw regarding our Air Force in a dog fight with red airplanes. Dear God we see what is coming to America grant us a spirit of repentance. Here we are God forgive us for our idolatry and send us as ones who will stand in the gap so you will not have to destroy our nation.

Is It Time To Change Our Views Of Adultery and Marriage, Huffington Post asks.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss a recent article published in the Huffington Post “Is it Time to Change Our Views of Adultery and Marriage?” They continue to discuss how the article sites a statistic regarding how 50% of marriages are ending in divorce. The truth is that fewer people are getting married today. It is reported that even in Mexico citizens are offered a temporary marriage license. We are leaving God’s original intent. They have twisted the meaning of marriage and said the two will become one they just have decided which one they will become. The truth is they need to become like Christ. They continue to discuss the sexual revolution that took place in the 60’s and the devastating affect it and many things that occurred in that era has greatly affected the family and marriage for the worse. Today they are totally tying to say that marriage is outdated and questioning what God has clearly said just like the serpent did to Eve. These are interesting times; don’t give up on the family and God’s original intent for the family.

Supreme Court Rule Okay to Pray in the Name of Jesus Publicly

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how the Supreme Court has just ruled that it is okay to pray in the name of Jesus publicly. According to CBN “The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that cities and towns across America can continue praying at public meetings.” This decision has implications for many Christians who are living through the country. They even discuss a city council member who was willing to take a stand and continue to pray before a meeting when a Federal judge ruled that prayer was not allowed. The council woman felt that her constitutional rights were being violated and stated publicly she was prepared to go to jail if she had to for praying publically in the Lord’s name. They encourage all elected representatives to seize the moment and to recognize why they were elected and to whom they must ultimately have to give an account to. It is also every elected official’s job to uphold and defend the constitution from enemies

In this moment of wisdom Greg shares from Proverbs 1:20-33 “Wisdom’s rebuke out in the open wisdom calls aloud, she raises her voice in the public square; on top of the wall she cries out, at the city gate she makes her speech: “How long will you who are simple love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge? Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you, I will make known to you my teachings. But since you refuse to listen when I call and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand,since you disregard all my advice and do not accept my rebuke, I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you; I will mock when calamity overtakes you—when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelms you. Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me, since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord. Since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes. For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them; but whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.” They continue to discuss the disastrous flood of biblical proportion that has affected the city of Pensacola and the Gulf coast region. Sudden disaster comes to those who are not listening to God and His messengers. If you had only responded to God’s rebuke He would have responded to you and opened himself to you. The enemy has totally twisted discipline. We must repent at His rebuke. Repentance is feeling bad about what you did and turning to Jesus and away from your sin. If you repent then God would reveal himself to you. God wants to commune with you. God loves you and has a plan for your life.
