John, Greg and Pat discuss the power of communication with God through prayer. They continue to discuss how prayer has no limitations. We may feel burdened for certain areas of the world and instead of being restricted by time and space we can be anywhere in prayer and declare God’s will for that person, business, and nation in Jesus’ name. They discuss that many times believers are moved by what they see in the physical realm when in fact what happens in the physical realm is a result of what happens in the spirit realm. Prayer allows us to do battle in the realm that truly matters. They discuss how in prayer you can literally rearrange the (spiritual) furniture of a family or gathering just by prayer. No matter where your life happens in this world there is no hindrance for you to pray and communicate with God. They further discuss the power of visualization of your prayer and seeing what you are declaring by faith. Prayer is talking to God; it’s not what religion has tried to make of it. Prayer is not just words it faith in your words and in the one, God, you are praying to. When we pray to the Lord things happen He interacts with you and things change in our material world. This happens when Abraham prayed for a certain number of people to be spared the destruction the Lord was sending to Sodom and Gomorrah. Jesus said my house is called to be a house of prayer, the house of prayer is not up the street you are the house of prayer. God is willing to respond He is just looking for those who will stand in the gap.

Avoiding the Hard Crashes that are bound to come when we Don’t Build on the Right Foundation

In this abiding moment Pat, Greg, and John the wise and foolish builder Jesus described in Matthew 7:24-29. The difference between the two is one built on the solid foundation of the implemented and practiced word of God and the other built with no implemented and practiced foundation. When the storms come and they do come, only the house that is built on the practiced and not just heard word of God will stand. Many today are hearing plenty of Word but they are not implementing and practicing the word they hear in their daily lives and are deceiving themselves. If not doing and practicing the word of God they are taking their own counsel of pride and they will eventually fall. How much of the church is taking in worldly wisdom? Everybody else is doing it, it seems right. Rick Joyner saw spiritual battles where great men of God were taken down by two little demons of pride and fear. It’s best to stay low walk in humility and put to practice God’s word in your lives.

For every 2.4 marriages in 2011, there was one divorce. ( U.S. Census Department)

Just 50% of American adults think the Bible contains everything you need to know to live a meaningful life. ( State of the Bible 2014)

It is interesting to note that the same percentage of marriages that are ending in divorce, 50%, is the same percentage of Americans who don’t think the Bible contains everything you need to know to live a meaningful life. It’s easy to see how problems come into our lives when the Word of God is meaningless. The problem is not with God it is with us. Like everything we purchase comes with an instruction manual so that we can be aware of two important things. One thing is what we need to avoid so we don’t mishandle the purchased item and the other is how to maximize and use the purchased item in the manner it was designed to be used. We have placed our hands all over our families without giving any regard to the word of God that tells us plainly how we are to live in the roles God has called us to. Rest assured when we ignore God’s truth it is only a matter of time before everything falls apart resulting in great pain. They continue to discuss a new movie from Focus on the Family called “Irreplaceable” is an upcoming feature length documentary. According to their website it is the first in a series from Focus on the Family that explores critical questions about the family in today’s culture. When we individually put God first the family will remain strong.

Two Paths: One of Light and Righteousness- The Other Sin and Darkness: Choose Wisely Your Present and Future will Depend on it

In this wisdom moment found in Proverbs 4:14-19 “Do not set foot on the path of the wicked (sin) or walk in the way of evildoers. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way. For they cannot rest until they do evil; they are robbed of sleep till they make someone stumble. They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence. The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is LIKE DEEP DARKNESS; they do not know what makes them stumble.” There are two paths, two ways to go in our life, two ways to live our lives. One is the path of dark wickedness and one is the path of life of righteousness. Those who walk on the path of wickedness (in sin) they are driven to do evil and feel like they can’t sleep till they have sinned in some way. They spend endless hours, giving up sleep and rest, till they make someone else stumble. They find release when someone else finds pain through their efforts. Their meals consist of the Bread of Wickedness (sin) and the Wine of Violence (sin). They can’t see enough wicked sinful media and never are able to fully quench their thirst with the wine of violence as they seek more and more violent experiences through media, or physical violence. The complete opposite is true for those who take the path of righteousness. Those who take the path of righteousness grow progressively in their life becoming more and brighter just as the morning sun processes to its peeking over the horizon with a glimpse of light, till it is so obviously shining it’s bright as the sun is at noon day.

Those who take the path of wickedness (of sin); their way is like DEEP DARKNESS. Think about dark rooms where you can’t see your hand in front of your face. It gets more and more dark until your ability to see what is right and wrong has totally left your grid of understanding. Walking in darkness has serious ramifications resulting in falling, tripping and crashing in personal lives, in relationships, at work, and in life in general.

They have no clue why they stumble, it’s because of their choice to walk in the path of wickedness/sin, and they can’t see it because they are in the dark.

So you’ll find them blaming others, someone for their own choices. You see “they do not know what makes them stumble.”

The darker a society gets, the more tragedy it experiences, but the blindness of those in that society increases till they know there is tragedy, but they can’t see – THEY ARE THE REASON WHY! John 1:5 “the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:4 “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

There are two paths and it’s for each of us individually to determine which path we will walk in. If we choose the path of righteousness’ our lives will become ever brighter and we’ll not have a life filled with traps, pitfalls and stumbling for our path will be made straight. If we choose the path of wickedness and sin, our lives will become increasingly darker, our ability to discern the what and why of what we’re doing will become impossible. Two Paths are before you; choose wisely.

Biggest Tornado Outbreak of the Season -29 Tornadoes May flower

Greg, John, and Pat discuss the biggest tornado outbreak of the season where 29 tornadoes rip through central parts of the United States. They continue to discuss how the small town in Arkansas called Mayflower was hit the hardest by tornadoes. They continue to encourage us to pray for those who have been affected by this devastation. They also ask us to consider what has happened in view of the “perfect storm” prophecy that was delivered by John Paul Jackson where he prophesied that weather events such as these would take place. In all the cities that were hit a city named Mayflower was hit the hardest. Could this be from God yet again trying to reach out to America, considering that it was on the Mayflower that Puritans came to America to find a country to where they can worship God? Some may ask could God bring such a thing to the earth while others recognize that surely yes God could when even the insurance companies know that and label certain events “acts of God”. If we don’t turn our hearts to God than we can only expect God’s judgment. Simultaneously, at very same time that tragedy has hit, Steve Green, owner of Hobby Lobby, is developing a Bible curriculum to be taught in public schools. God doesn’t want to destroy us, he wants us to repent and turn our hearts completely to Him.

The Day of Remembrance Holocaust

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how 10,000 people from over 50 countries participated in a march from Auschwitz to commemorate Holocaust victims in the March of the Living according to the Jerusalem Post. They continue to discuss now the Jews are great at making sure they remember. They continue to discuss that a museum teaches that at the time of the Holocaust the Christian church was not able to recognize evil. Americans call evil as not being “that bad”. Even the Prime Minister of Israel has drawn from the similarities that are occurring today when he describes the Palestinians partnership with Hamas, a known hater and attacker of the Jews, while still thinking they can pursue peace with Israel. We will never forget what happened to the Jews during the Holocaust where 6 million Jews were killed as we honor the 200,000 survivors that are alive today.

Hobby Lobby Owner Steve Green Vision of Education Developing a Bible Curriculum

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how Hobby Lobby’s owner Steve Green has a vision for education and is developing a Bible curriculum to be taught in public schools. According to the Washington Post “The Mustang, Okla., school board voted Monday to adopt a Bible course developed by Steve Green, clearing the way for the Hobby Lobby president…” Steve’s desire is to the Museum of the Bible Curriculum which is a four year public school elective on the narrative of the history and impact of the Bible. Steve’s desire is by September of 2016 to have this curriculum in at least 100 high schools. They encourage us to go buy something, anything at your nearest Hobby Lobby retail store to stand in agreement with the Green family. We need to stand with those who are standing boldly in our society.

John, Steve, and Pat discuss a recent interview with Steve Ma whose mission field is Hollywood. He shares how he fist wanted to become a movie director but when that route was not possible he pursued acting as a possible way to have access to the movie industry. He goes on to share how he encountered a friend who was in love with Jesus and was sharing the gospel with several movie stars. Steve was inspired and challenged to do the same and became obedient to the Great Commission. He continues to share how he had the opportunity to share a gospel tract with actor Brad Pitt on a movie set. A short time later he was fired. They continued to discuss Steve’s inspiring passion to win souls. They share if most Christians today if given the opportunity would share the gospel with a celebrity or would they just be enamored by them. They encourage us to address the two common hindrances in witnessing for Jesus; fear and not being prepared. There is no reason to fear man when eternity hangs in the balance. There are 7 billion people in the world and God has allowed your life to intersect with your specific neighbors, coworkers, classmates, friends and family for a reason. One of the most important things a soul winner can do is to be filled with compassion for people and to cry out to God and ask him to burden you for their soul. It’s the love of God that compels us to share with as many people as we can the GREAT NEWS of the gospel. Jesus Saves and He will save you; if you let Him.

Company in China, Alibaba Set to have Bigger IPO than Facebook?

John, Pat, and Steve discuss a company in China, Alibaba that is set to have a bigger IPO than Facebook. According to CNN Money the tech company was not started in Harvard or Mit but instead in an apartment in China by former English teacher Jack Ma. The company was started with $60,000 investment from 18 friends. CNN Money reports that “The Company has since evolved into the dominant force in China's e-commerce industry, a market with so much potential that Alibaba's IPO may be the largest ever by a tech company -- surpassing even the $16 billion raised by Facebook. They continue to encourage us to believe God for inventions and creative concepts that create jobs and industry for people. They discuss how George Washington Carver asked God to reveal to him the secrets of the universe instead God shared with him the mysteries of the peanut. This unfolding from God to him resulted in the creation of over 300 products many in which we are using today. The next big company may be inside of you the important thing is to remember God and honor Him with what He has blessed you with.

John, Steve, and Pat discuss how Israel has stopped their talks with the Palestinians after it has been made known in recent days that Fatah has a unity deal forming a unified government. The area of concern that has caused Israel to suspend U.S. led talks with the hopes for a two state solution was that Palestinians have united with Hamas, alleged militant arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. According to CBN; Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s spokesperson said "Following the decision by the Palestinian government to forge an alliance with Hamas, an organization that calls for the destruction of the Jewish state, we have decided to suspend all the negotiations with the Palestinians," Regev said in a statement.” "They cannot say they are a peace partner if they are embracing the most violent and extreme enemies of peace," Regev said. Israel has repeatedly been gracious towards the Palestinians even releasing convicted terrorists as a good faith gesture to begin talks. Israel has some very small considerations and one that has been a true non-negotiable mainly that the Palestinians recognize Israel as the Jewish State that it is. This concession has never been able to have been met by the Palestinians. As things lie now Israel has suspended talks, however, they have left the door open should the Palestinians rethink their partnership with Hamas.

John, Steve and Pat discuss how China will be the most Christian nation by 2030 according to CBN and London Sunday Telegraph. "It is going to be less than a generation. Not many people are prepared for this dramatic change," Fenggang Yang, a leading expert on religion in China, told the newspaper.” They continue to discuss the ramifications of many Christians as well as Yang, professor of sociology at Purdue’s new book, Religion in China: Survival and Revival under Communist Rule. They discuss how committed the church in China is and how they challenge Christians in the west. It has been reported that the underground church alone is close to 130 million believers but by 2030 the church in China is projected to be 247 million strong. They further discuss how many people think that conveniences of living in the west in the United States, nation of laws, would help to further the gospel and in some instances it has but it is said that it hasn’t nearly produced such committed Christians like the believers in China. Christians who professor Yang says have not only survived but have been in Revival under Communist rule. They continue to ask the question what we are doing in the church in the west. Have we been possibly majoring on the minors while not majoring on the majors? It’s time for the church in the west to truly embrace the notion that Jesus alone is enough.

Steve, John, and Pat have an encouraging conversation as Steve shares what the Lord shared to him in his abiding time. It is always exciting to see how God reveals deeper understanding into a scripture that we may have already read many times before. The gospel of John shares an encounter that Jesus has with a woman at a well. Jesus was thirsty and asked her for a drink. She focused on Jesus’ the fact that Jesus did not have anything in which to gather water to drink from. Jesus begins a conversation with this woman about who he is while she is still focused on his lack of a cup.

Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life John 4:13-14

They share that both the woman and Jesus were talking about water. The difference is that one of the waters was dead and the other was living. When we taste the living water of Jesus, we will never thirst for the dead waters of men. The water of men puts a fire out while the water of Jesus stokes the fire in us for more of him. The living water of Jesus both fills you and causes you to thirst for more of Jesus. They continue to share that the devil will always seek to deceive with a copy of what is real and true. It may sound the same, it may even look the same but, ultimately, it is the opposite of what Jesus has for you. Religion is dead but Jesus is alive. There are the dead words of men and there are the living words of Jesus Christ. Taste and see that Jesus is alive. Drink from his water and never thirst again for what is dead.
