  • Health Care is Evolving?
Health Care is Evolving? What does the Future looks like and Christian Health Care Alternatives
John, Greg, and Pat discuss how healthcare is evolving as they discuss what the future looks like and the alternatives that are available for Christians. The continue to discuss a recent article written by the alleged architect of the affordable health care act, former President Obama’s Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, brother of Ezekiel Emanuel. The article entitled “Insurance Companies as we know them are about to die and here’s what is going to replace them”, was featured in the New Republic. In this article Ezekiel writes “The good news is you won’t have insurance companies to kick around much longer. The system is changing. As a result, insurance companies as they are now will be going away. Indeed, they are already evolving. For the next few years insurance companies will both continue to provide services to employers and, increasingly, compete against each other in the health insurance exchanges. In that role they will put together networks of physicians and hospitals and other services and set a premium. But because of health care reform, new actors will force insurance companies to evolve or become extinct. The accountable care organizations (ACOs) (which I discuss in Chapter 8 of my new book) and hospital systems will begin competing directly in the exchanges and for exclusive contracts with employers.” Ezekiel is literally telling us that insurance companies will be no more and they themselves have to evolve to in order to play a role in the new emerging health care industry the will compromise ACO’s, Accountable Care Organizations, that encompass networks of physicians and hospitals working together. In his new book, Reinventing American Health Care: How the Affordable Care Act will improve our Terribly Complex, Blatantly Unjust, Outrageously Expensive, Grossly Inefficient, Error Prone System lays out how this will all work. They continue to discuss that although there are many things that are still unknown regarding the Affordable Healthcare Act there are some things have been known from the beginning, namely President Obama wanting the single payer option. The single payer option is basically government paying for health care. John and Greg both share experiences regarding health care and the challenges they and others have experienced when it came to our present health care system. They encourage us to remember as Christians that we can believe and should desire a system that affords every citizen no matter their race or socio economic condition to be afforded the same health care as everyone else. They continue to discuss how amazing it is to see how those who have “cheese” to criticize there are those who are standing in line who don’t have any. We must have a system as Christians that looks after the elderly without taking advantage of them. They further discuss some health care alternatives that Fox News is reporting that is available for Christians that would also be compliant with affordable health care standards. Fox News reports that “With just weeks left to sign up for insurance on HealthCare.gov, a growing number of people are opting to enroll in a Christian alternative to traditional health insurance. Nationwide networks of fellow believers help share each other's major medical bills through what's known as health care sharing ministries. "It works just like insurance. I have an insurance card. I show it just like anyone else would. I have a deductible. I have a monthly premium that I pay," explained Eileen Wade, who joined the health care sharing ministry, Medi-Share, in 2011.” The article continues to share how today the top three largest ministries have more than 242,000 members across all 50 states in America who agree to live by a biblical lifestyle meaning regular church attendance, no drugs, tobacco, or sex outside of marriage, and limited alcohol consumptions. They continue to share testimonies of how care share ministries such as Medi-share have worked to care for the needs of their members. They further discuss the limitless possibilities before the church if the 97% who are not tithing, according to George Barna, began to tithe. They discuss how Christians can begin to build hospitals to serve the needs of God’s people. The Lord can and will provide for us as we turn our hearts and honor him with our obedience.

  • Self-Reliance = Self Destruction?
Greg, John, and Pat discuss how self- destruction often awaits those who are self-reliant. Today, the Russian President has essentially invaded the country of Ukraine and has 16 thousand troops in Ukraine. Things are happening so fast for a nation like the Ukraine who just wanted democracy. They have been on this journey for a long time. They have been so fed up with tyrannical leadership they even pulled down Stalin’s statue. Ukraine at that time was considered the bread basket and they thought they would be okay because they were able to grow their own food. They had become self-reliant and thought they could take care of themselves. What ultimately happened was that Stalin came down with soldiers and starved the Ukrainian people to death. They were confident because they were self-reliant. As Christians our hope and dependency needs to be in God alone; relying on ourselves is pride. God is the one in Acts 17 who has determined the exact time and place we are to live that we may reach out to Him although He is not far. God wants us to reach out to Him; not our company or unions but to fully rely on God. It never really goes well for those who are self-reliant. God can deliver our nation; it’s a minor thing if we repent and turn back to Him.

  • Our Children Matter in and out of the Womb
Greg, John, and Pat discuss how important our children are in and out of the womb. They continue to discuss the story of a German family that fled Germany and sought asylum in the United States. Their story is one of great importance as the country of Germany want to be in complete control of the children and have made it illegal to homeschool children. This family wanted to teach their children about God and objected to what the German schools were teaching them. The parents refused to send their children to school only to have the government enter their house in the dark of night and physically removed the children. After some time the family was able to make it out of Germany with their children and fled to the United States. After some time in the United States and seeking asylum in the U.S. and to no avail their case finally made it as far as being able to be heard on the Supreme Court level and yet again nothing has been done for them. The family eventually had to go back to Germany. They continue to discuss how just because things may be legal does not mean they are moral. They further discuss how they are seeing more and more how the African American community has had to deal with unjust treatment fully understanding how God is the one in complete control and why they believe the prophetic word given regarding how God was going to use African Americans in the last day move of God. They further encourage us to pray for this German family as we are seeing an onslaught on our children. In America this attack on our children took a drastic turn in 1973 with the Roe vs. Wade court decision that made abortions, murdering of babies, legal. Since that time it is estimated that 55 million plus babies have been murdered, the population of 25 of the least populated states in America. The enemy has robbed many of the true blessings of family and the joy to conceive children. They continue to discuss a recent happening in a suburb community in which an unwed teenage girl gave birth to a child put the child in a plastic bag and threw the baby away. It was only after the girl went to the hospital to try to convince them that she had some internal bleeding that the truth was discovered that this young girl gave birth to a child that was thrown away to die in plastic bag. The child was eventually found gasping for breath and ultimately died. There are many that want to charge this young lady with murder but could it be that this young lady has been confused for the last forty days by how adults and those in our government who have legalized murder in the form of abortion. If the doctor killed the baby in the womb he would actually receive money and be free but if you kill a baby out of the womb you will be charged with murder. We must take responsibility before God and end this hypocrisy. Children are sign that we are blessed. Dear God, end abortion; send revival!

Understanding Semantics when WORDS MATTER; Pay Attention to ISRAEL
Greg, John, and Pat discuss the importance of understanding semantics when words matter especially when words are thrown out regarding Israel. You can say something in so many different ways; semantics matter. So many words in the Bible have been taken captive. Right not we need to know the meaning of words that are being used around the world. For instance they talk about what the word hegemony and what it means. This is a word that is being used and we don’t even know what the word means. It means to rule the world; to have complete control of the world. This is what Hitler wanted; it is what the caliphate is all about. They continue to discuss and question as to why things are not being said the way they truly are and how important it is for Christians to speak things the way they are. We must talk plainly. There are those who want world domination. They continue to discuss what was written by Jeff Goldberg in the “Bloomberg View” regarding what the President conveyed to him. “President Barack Obama will tell him (P.M. Netanyahu) that his country could face a bleak future -- one of international isolation and demographic disaster -- if he refuses to endorse a U.S.-drafted framework agreement for peace with the Palestinians.” The President allegedly predicted a bleak future for Israel if she did not agree to the Palestinian peace agreement. All the while in times pass Secretary John Kerry warned Israel of another intifada. Israel was threatened with the extinction of its race. They continue to discuss how much of what we are seeing unfold on the global scene does not make sense to most but it does make sense to those who are using Alinsky tactics to bring these events to pass. There is no true agenda but the ultimate agenda. Our only hope is God especially from those who try to control and manipulate. It’s important to understand what is being said especially when they are using words like hegemony which means ruling the world. They continue to share what Prophet Chuck Pierce said regarding how the root of racism is found in anti-Semitism. If we don’t deal with anti- Semitism we can’t break racism in our country. What we are seeing is nothing more than Saul Alinksy tactics of which he wrote about in his book Rules for Radicals, right now it’s all about pushing bipolar narratives. We are seeing right before our own eyes the world being organized. They encourage not giving up standing up for the truth.
It Seems Right; LET’S JUST DO IT?
Greg, John, and Pat discuss in this abiding moment how many feel that if it seems right; they should just do it. They continue to discuss the approach of two of Israel’s Kings; King David and King Hezekiah. It seemed right to David that when bringing in the ark of the covenant that it should be brought in with singing, dancing, and closely guarded with two of his best men. It also seemed right to one of David’s men that when the oxen stumbled to reach out his hand to steady the ark and for that action he was struck dead. They continued to discuss that although David did what seemed right to him it ultimately was not right before God. This is in contrast to what King Hezekiah did when he approached the things of God and how he made certain decisions. King Hezekiah began to teach people the word of God and he sent heralds out to tell the people to consecrate themselves before they celebrate the Passover. Some didn’t take too kind to that and they began to scorn the messengers. Hezekiah wanted to do the same thing David did in terms of bringing God’s people into the presence of God. However, the people scorned the messengers almost much like what is being done today with so many believers polling people to find out what they think ; finding enough people who will agree with them instead of them finding out what God’s word says. That did not affect Hezekiah because he was focused on what God’s word says. Hezekiah moved with the people who agreed with God that this was good. He found out what God’s word said and did it God’s way. Hezekiah had compassion and began asking God to forgive the priest for their sins. They continue to discuss what they observed in King Hezekiah’s life that just because things seemed good you just can’t run with it; you need to study God’s word and find out what God’s word says about it. There is an order when it comes to doing things for God; it’s completely God’s way. He is a holy God; a consuming fire and He will shake the whole earth to teach righteousness. The truth is not everybody will follow God and they may even ridicule you and scorn you but take it as confirmation and love those who ridicule you. Don’t get bitter you must love the church; the presence of the Lord will come if we do this after all that is our heart’s desire; His presence.

  • Being Made Ready to be Used By God
Pat, Greg, and John discuss the importance of being made ready to be used by God. In this abiding moment Pat shares regarding Romans 12: 1-2 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Pat continues to share how the only other place in the word of God where we are challenged to test God is in the book of Malachi regarding our finances. He noticed how in both scriptures that before the testing comes the giving. Some may say I will wait and see before I give, however, the Bible instructs us that we give first and then things will unfold before us. Pat continues to share how he can remember when he first came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ he eagerly desired to do something for Him and how God made known to him that before he can do anything for God, he had to truly give all of himself to God first. They further discuss how many want to do something for God without fully giving themselves to God. That will never work; we must be ready to be made ready to be used by God. They discuss how King Saul and King David had the same calling. One fulfilled the calling while the other did not. The difference was that one had process and the other thought that he could skip process. They encourage us to abide and to hear God’s voice as He will lead us in everything.

  • Replica of Noah’s Ark Set to Be Built; Creation Museum in Kentucky
John, Greg, and Pat discuss how they enjoy the many different dimensions in the body of Christ as they discuss the ministry of creationism. They continue to remind us the recent debate between Ken Ham and Billy Nye the science guy. They further discuss how it has been Ken Ham’s, Creation Museum Founder , desire to recreate Noah’s Ark and now as a result of 7 million people who viewed the debate funds poured in and they are now ready for the project. This is a huge undertaking but one that Ken wants to undertake to encourage the body of Christ to have faith. CBN reports the actual dimensions of the ark "It's 510 feet long, 85 feet wide and 55 feet high," he said. The bow and the stern take the ark to more than 100 feet tall.” It will serve as a reminder to God’s people never to forget of what can be accomplished when God calls s to do something that is incredibly larger than what we can even imagine. They continue to express their joy and excitement regarding this project and encourage us to visit it when completed in Kentucky.

  • From Israel to Russia; What’s Going On?
Greg, John, and Pat discuss what is happening today on the global scene as they discuss Israel and Russia regarding recent events. They continue to encourage us to pray for Israel as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with President Obama. They remind us of the stakes at hand and that these are not just some ordinary meetings but rather a meeting with the most powerful man in the free world and Israel. They remind us that whoever blesses Israel will be blessed. They continue to discuss recent comments President Obama made in a recent interview with Jeffrey Goldberg from the “Bloomberg View”. President Obama was quoted as saying, just days ahead of his meeting with P.M. Netanyahu that “President Barack Obama will tell him that his country could face a bleak future -- one of international isolation and demographic disaster -- if he refuses to endorse a U.S.-drafted framework agreement for peace with the Palestinians.” At the same time Russian President, Vladamir Putin, has come down into the Ukraine and has taken over the Crimea Peninsula. One commentator said that President Obama’s foreign policy is like a fantasy. Putin taking over Ukraine is like Canada trying to come into the United States because someone in the U.S. speaks French. These are serious days in which we are living in and they continue to encourage us to pray as they continue to discuss the unfolding of steps that have happened on the global scene; steps namely involving Russia exerting her agenda and authority. Pray for those in authority and for America as things unfold all the while America’s military is being downgraded, Syria was handed over to Russia, and Iran’s nuclear intentions are being ignored and Israel’s race is being threatened with extinction. All the while Greg shares the about the patriotism expressed by an Israeli defense solder who was an amputee. The soldier said regarding his service in the Israeli military; “It’s our job to protect Israel; there job is to give us the reason” speaking of their loved ones. Patriotism like this is to be respected and coveted
Anti- Semitism is on the rise we must not forget as Christians to stand with the Jews because as goes Israel so goes the church.
