  • heGemony Crickets Semantics Matter
Greg, John, and Pat discuss the importance of understanding semantics when words matter especially when words are thrown out regarding Israel. You can say something in so many different ways; semantics matter. So many words in the Bible have been taken captive. Right not we need to know the meaning of words that are being used around the world. For instance they talk about what the word hegemony and what it means. This is a word that is being used and we don’t even know what the word means. It means to rule the world; to have complete control of the world. This is what Hitler wanted; it is what the caliphate is all about. They continue to discuss and question as to why things are not being said the way they truly are and how important it is for Christians to speak things the way they are. We must talk plainly. There are those who want world domination. They continue to discuss what was written by Jeff Goldberg in the “Bloomberg View” regarding what the President conveyed to him. “President Barack Obama will tell him (P.M. Netanyahu) that his country could face a bleak future -- one of international isolation and demographic disaster -- if he refuses to endorse a U.S.-drafted framework agreement for peace with the Palestinians.” The President allegedly predicted a bleak future for Israel if she did not agree to the Palestinian peace agreement. All the while in times pass Secretary John Kerry warned Israel of another intifada. Israel was threatened with the extinction of its race. They continue to discuss how much of what we are seeing unfold on the global scene does not make sense to most but it does make sense to those who are using Alinsky tactics to bring these events to pass. There is no true agenda but the ultimate agenda. Our only hope is God especially from those who try to control and manipulate. It’s important to understand what is being said especially when they are using words like hegemony which means ruling the world. They continue to share what Prophet Chuck Pierce said regarding how the root of racism is found in anti-Semitism. If we don’t deal with anti- Semitism we can’t break racism in our country. What we are seeing is nothing more than Saul Alinksy tactics of which he wrote about in his book Rules for Radicals, right now it’s all about pushing bipolar narratives. We are seeing right before our own eyes the world being organized. They encourage not giving up standing up for the truth.

  • Kingdom of the World or the Kingdom of God. Which One are You in?
Kingdom of the World or the Kingdom of God. Which One are You in?
Greg and Pat discuss how many dark conversations are taking place in the world. They continue to discuss how the kingdom of God is completely different from the kingdoms of this world. If someone is trying to define the kingdom of God by the kingdoms of this world they have missed it. The Kingdom of God existed before America; in fact America came as a result of the kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God will exist no matter the environment so when we discuss separating the two this is not a negative thing. For instance, if someone changes an amendment to the constitution that doesn’t mean that Jesus will change or has been changed. The kingdom of God is inside of us making us kingdom containers. As believers we need to go and spread the kingdom and as we do when people receive Jesus into their heart then the Kingdom of God expands. God’s kingdom does not expand by territory or political party. They also discussed how the kingdoms of this world will be shaken but what will remain is God’s kingdom. As a believer you must know what kingdom you are in. America will stand if we concern ourselves with the kingdom of God. They further discuss how Esther was able to intervene and spare a people and God answered the prayers of the people as she approached the king which resulted in him changing his edict regarding the Jews. Today many believers are not even praying for the President. When Israel had the right perspective, humbled themselves and prayed they saw that God was in control and he touched the heart of the King. Could it be that today we have placed too much attention on the kingdoms of this world and its leaders than on God? We must remember that our enemy is not a physical enemy but a spiritual enemy. We need to seek the Kingdom of God and his righteousness. Once we hear from God and have peace then we can go forth and preach His Kingdom in the entire world.

  • There is No Condemnation
Greg and Pat discuss how there is no condemnation in Jesus. It’s not the church’s job to condemn. Romans 8: 1 says “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Jesus did not come to condemn the world but to save the world. We are already serving a life sentence. That’s like telling a prisoner on death row that he is a prisoner. He already knows that. Telling someone what they are will not motivate them. Jesus didn’t come to condemn but to save. Tell them about the love of Jesus and why he came to save us and to set us free. He has a plan for your life. Jesus is the doorway that allows the prisoner to be free. We are not called to be sin focused but the love of God. You don’t fish with cleaning gear you fish with fishing gear. Once the fish is caught then you clean the fish. If we move outside of God’s love we may find we are subject to fall into condemnation. You must rely on the finished work of Jesus Christ and when you do He will empower you to walk in the place of obedience. If you have been caught up in the condemning band wagon and feel like it’s your job to point others sins out by being critical and condemning you are actually damaging the gospel. We are called to share the love of God. There is a difference between God’s conviction and condemnation. One produces more of the same and the other leads people to freedom.

  • You Can’t Organize Israel
Greg and Pat discuss how you can’t organize Israel and encourage us to keep Israel in our prayers. They discuss how the president will be meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about this frame work of peace deal that they are working on while there are 170,000 missiles aimed at Israel. They further discuss how there seems to be Alinsky tactics at work to pressure Israel. They are coming in to nudge Israel to get them to do what they want them to do. What you will find is that there is not an agenda. They just keep this rapid movement going so that people can be gathered up and herded up to get people to be nudged to go in a certain direction. These are the Alinsky tactics that he wrote about in the book Rules for Radicals. They further discuss that organizing is not good or bad it just depends what they are organizing about. They continue to show us how the church was falling for these tactics during a national conversation regarding the Affordable Healthcare Act and abortion being part of it. God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Saul in the New Testament before he became Paul thought he was doing something good for God until he met Jesus. They encourage us to listen to Organizers of the Day versus Organizers of the night. Israel today is completely surrounded by her enemies with over 100,000 missiles pointed at her. They continue to discuss how these tactics are being used to try to organize Israel. As Christians we can’t bow down we must allow Jesus to organize us.

  • How To Live in the Joy of a Holy Stranger
Greg and Pat discuss how we are called to live as holy strangers. Holy meaning that we belong to God and we follow Him by being brought out from the world and set apart for Him. Abraham was one who lived as a stranger in his own land. They continue to discuss how many have settled for the white picket fence dream resulting in 95% of believers not ever winning a person to the Lord in their entire life. They encourage us not to conform. God says to be Holy. Christians have become a subculture of the world. You may be an American but you may be in China, Israel, or India and even Iraq either way you are in the body of Christ living as a holy stranger. The “American” gospel would have you think that you will need all this stuff. However, the rich young ruler shows us that it’s not about having stuff because in the end he ended up in hell and the beggar ended up in heaven. We must not forget that Jesus is building a place for those who are his. He is coming back for his church. Paul said that if our hope is just in this lifetime we should be pitied more than anyone else. Jesus will create a heavenly city where he wants to live with you forever. This life right now is about us bringing him glory. It’s pre- marital counseling for our future. If we die today as a believer we win. Christians should not fear death. Everyone is trying so hard to live that they never do. We must never forget that this world is not our home. People are walking around so weighed down they have forgotten all that Jesus has done for them, saving them from their sins and making them an heir of God. They continue to discuss that if the prosperity gospel has worked so well than we need to stop preaching it in America; we are already richer 70 percent of the world. We need to preach it in Nepal. The truth is that America is blessed because God blessed it. If you are just making it in America it’s okay to understand that you are blessed. They continue to discuss how young kids want to fit in. That is all a teenager wants to do. The same is true with adults that want to fit in whether it’s in their work or even their fellowship. However, we are instructed in God’s word for us not to be conformed to the patterns of this world. Feeling like a stranger is actually a good thing. If you do fit in you will eventually fit out of the kingdom if you become like them. Maybe you should find other “holy strangers” that fellowship with God. We honor those who don’t fit in. Today 3% of America employs the other 97% of America. They stepped out from what was. We are called to live as holy strangers and to love the world and share with them the love of Jesus that they too may not fit in with the world. The church emerges when “holy strangers” come together. Your fellowship is with those who love God.

  • Ukrainians STAND UP for Freedom: God Answers Prayers
Greg and Pat discuss how Ukrainians have stood for freedom and ousted the current President. They continue to discuss how Russian President Vladamir Putin has tried to take over Ukraine. According to CBN the former president of Ukraine is a fugitive from justice Monday. The country's interim government issued an arrest warrant for Viktor Yanukovich after the mass killings of civilians last week. "Christians were praying on Independence Square," Pastor Kaluzhny said. "We were praying in our churches. People around the world were praying for us, and God did a miracle! Ukraine is a new country." The exciting thing is that a Christian leader is emerging. It has been tragic and many have died but it is good for people to stand up for freedom. They continued to discuss how a prominent evangelical Christian has been picked to be the interim President until elections in May. The congress heard that the people don’t want to be up under that oppression. We are watching freedom. We see a people who want to stand up and do what they can to be free. You just can’t hand over your country to Russia. It’s what our founding founders have done in our own country. We have a representative government to represent the rights of the people. They encourage us by reminding us of how bad the situation was in Ukraine. They could have given up and said “Oh Well” but they didn’t. Instead they pressed in and the church in Ukraine prayed as well as Christians all over the world. They further discussed how the Ukraine used to be the bread basket of the world. The people rose up and demanded change but at the same time standing for freedom can cost you and for some of those who stood up in Ukraine, it did. People every day in America lay down their lives for freedom. It’s okay to pledge your allegiance to your country but as Christians we pledge our allegiance first to Jesus we can be proud of our relationship with God. We must never forget it’s going to cost you something. They continue to encourage us about the blessing that we have in America and how it’s not illegal for you to support the laws of the land. We are a nation of laws. They encourage us to look at what happened in Ukraine and remember the freedom that we have in our country and to stand up for the rights that are afforded to us in the Constitution and to encourage our representatives to do the same.

  • Looking for those who say Thank You
Greg and Pat discuss the importance of looking for someone who says, “thank you” as they share the power of having an attitude of gratitude. They share the quest to look for someone who is grateful to God for what He is doing in their life. It’s important to know that just because God is doing things in people’s lives, doesn’t mean that they are actually grateful. They continue to share how one of the first and beginning steps toward God’s judgment is when people fail to be grateful. God is the one who gives us everything. Romans 1:21 tells us that “For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. “ They continue to discuss how we should continue to do good for people but look for those who say, “thank you” to God; those who appreciate what he is doing for them. They will encourage you to go back and to minister to 10 others who are not grateful. They also discuss how they have seen how God has provided for so many and how in just 30 days some forget all that the Lord has done. They were so fearful in what God might not do that they fail to recognize what God has and is doing. They encourage those who are ministering to those who are not grateful that they may have to step out once or twice a week and pray for those who will recognize and see that you may be encouraged. They continue to discuss how an account of soldiers in WWII that came upon imprisoned Jews that when a soldier offered one of them piece of candy and a smile the ladies face just lit up. She was grateful for just a kind look. They continue to discuss that if you live in America you are richer than 75 % of people in the world. God alone is the one who did this and allowed the blessings to come upon this land and with all these blessings we are not even saying, “thank you”. God is faithful to the faithless. They encourage us never to underestimate God’s love, forgiveness, and mercy. They urge us to look for those who are grateful. Ungrateful people only remember what God did last week and that for a moment. However, those who are grateful acknowledge God and to others what God has done for them. You will be encouraged when you find these people, those who live in a continual state of thanks. Don’t be taken down by those who may be around you who refuse to be grateful to God; look, search and find those who are grateful and thankful and pray for them, love them and watch how encouraged you will be. They further share about the ten lepers that had leprosy. Jesus healed all ten but only one came back to thank Jesus and glorified God with a loud voice. Those are the ones you are looking for.
