  • Congresswoman Says Her Biggest Job in Washington is Ministering
Greg, John and Pat discuss how Congresswoman Noem says her biggest job in Washington D.C. is ministering. According to CBN News “She's making her mark not just within the Republican Party but in the kingdom of God, too. And she's had to overcome many challenges along the way.” Congresswoman Noem is from South Dakota and is very passionate about her role both as a mother and congresswoman. "I am 100 percent convinced God created me to be a mom," Noem told CBN News at her home in Castlewood, S.D. "Every other job that I have or duty that I have is just extra things that He's put on my plate." After trying to get several bills through unsuccessfully she has come to the conclusion that God has more for her to do. "You know He placed me there, yes, to work on policy, but maybe my biggest job was to minister to individuals," she said. Noem said she spends her time not just trying to change minds on policy but trying to change hearts as an effective witness in a city with desperate needs.” They continue to discuss how congresswoman Noem is an answer to prayer. An elected official who loves God and country in that order and that she sees an opportunity to minister elected officials one heart at a time.

  • He Doesn’t Bear the Sword for Nothing
Greg, John, and Pat discuss how the one in authority doesn’t bear the sword for nothing and getting a biblical understanding of authority. They continue to discuss how Jesus said that the centurion had the greatest faith in all Israel. Romans 13:1-5 says “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.” The one in authority does not bear the sword for nothing. Authority is given a power. The question some have is; will God establish an evil power? The answer is yes He will. Often times those who are in authority are a result of the people. If the people are good and right then their leadership will be good and right but if the people are not right and evil then then those in authority will reflect it. There are many theories today but God has a plan and order to what He does. If God establishes it and you fight against it then you are fighting against God. What we can do is do what we are told to do in the Bible in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 and that is to pray for those in authority. The leadership will turn when we turn our hearts back to God.

  • Prediction in 1992 by Author Neil Postman That Men Would Look to Technology as God Part 2
Prediction in 1992 by Author Neil Postman That Men Would Look to Technology as God Part 2
Greg, John, and Pat discuss part 2 of the prediction made in 1992 by author Neil Postman that men would look to technology as God. They continue to discuss how technology has changed so much over time from the Gutenberg Press to the technology we have today. They continue to discuss how when people think about technology what often comes to mind is what they will get but what is often not thought about is what they will lose. Neil Postman, the author of Technopoly: The Surrender of Culture to Technology makes several observations as well as predictions. One such prediction is how people would turn to technology instead of turning to God. They continue to discuss that what God is in your life is not what you say God is but rather what you make as an idol in your heart. God will judge a nation for the idolatry in people’s hearts. Technological advances have made some things better and even efficient in our lives but one of the things it has taken away from us is our ability to have intimate connections with others. We can seemingly never get away from each other. They continue to discuss the impact the technology of the day, the Guttenberg Press, had at the time Martin Luther hand wrote his 95 theses not knowing the Guttenberg Press had the ability to make his theses go viral. They continue to discuss that with every new technological addition to society, society doesn’t just add technology to what it is it actually morphs into something completely new. However, they discuss that the church cannot morph into anything new it must always remain the church. They further discuss how the technology is neither good nor bad but what makes it good or bad is how the person behind the technology uses it. We are instructed in God’s word in Romans 12:1-2 not to conform to the patterns of this world. Not everyone can handle technology the right way and if that is you it’s always better to have God without technology than to have technology without God.

  • Open Doors and Empty Houses: Spiritual Wickedness
Greg, John, and Pat discuss how open doors and empty houses open you up to spiritual wickedness. They continued discussing that when you walk away from God you open yourself up to sin. When you have open doors and are in sin you don’t choose what sin bondage enters your life. The Bible says in Luke 11:225-26 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first.” They continue to discuss one of the ways you know when someone is under demonic oppression. That’s when they look at God’s word knowing clearly what it says and says God’s word is wrong. They continued discussing the dangers of living with rebellion in your heart and having an open door for demons to enter. They look for a place to go and if your door is open they will go in. You are the temple of God if you are a Christian you must keep your “house” filled with the word of God. If you continue down this path you are opening your family to spiritual darkness. Sure people can be delivered but what’s the point if they go right back and now worse spirits come back into the house leaving the person worse off. It’s not about being delivered as much as it is about being set free.

  • Anti Semitism; Hatred for the JEWS on the Rise in Hungary
Greg, John, and Pat discuss how anti-Semitism is on the rise in Budapest Hungary. CBN News reports that “Today, Hungary's Jews are fearful again because of a return of anti-Semitism. Hungary has been going backwards economically since before the financial crisis of 2008. Old scapegoats have come back to life in a nation that was flattened by globalization: foreigners, bankers, and Jews.” They continue to report how the third largest political party in Hungary, Jobbik is running political ads trying to tap into the psyche of Hungarians painting the Jews as the problem for tough economic times the country fines itself in. They continued to discuss that this is why you need Jesus in your life. When everything is good it’s sometimes hard for people to know who they are. However, when they lose everything the sinful nature is exposed. That’s why the government can never be the answer. They encourage us to look and to trust in God. The United States itself has had a history of not wanting to see a people are blessed. After a period of enslavement there were reparations where blacks were given forty acres and a mule but when their industry a was excelling the government the reparations. They encourage us to look to God for your blessings. You will know who your God is when someone else has what you want and your response to this revelation reveals everything.

Prayer for America and the Church from an 11 Year of Boy for what Lies Ahead
Greg, John, and Pat discuss a prayer for America and the Church prayed by an 11 year old boy. They continued to discuss how he was also given four dreams around the same time the Lord was speaking to Greg regarding a prophetic word about how it’s going to be a physical battle and not just spiritual. In the dreams he received from the boy God showed him what was going to happen to America, the church, and how the President could be helped. They continued to discuss the lyrics in a song that said the greatest travesty was to honor God with our lips and to deny him with our lifestyles. This is going to be a great test for America and the church; it’s important to be prepared.

Prediction in 1992 That Men Would Look to Technology as God was he right?
Greg, John, and Pat discuss the prediction made by author Neil Postman in 1992 when he said in the future that men would look to technology as God. They continue to discuss how technology has changed so much over time from the Gutenberg Press to the technology we have today. They continue to discuss how when people think about technology what often comes to mind is what they will get but what is often not thought about is what they will lose. Neil Postman, the author of Technopoly: The Surrender of Culture to Technology in the book he makes several observations as well as predictions. One such prediction is how people would turn to technology instead of turning to God. Neil said that America was turning to a new religion; technology. They continued to discuss the importance of not submitting to technology but having technology submit to God. They continue to discuss that with every new advancement in technology you just don’t have what you had plus the technology but instead what you had or were morphs into something new with the infusion of technology. They continue to ask the question whether you turn to God or to your technology when you wake up in the morning. They continue to ask if your hope is in God or technology. What was discovered is when people seek God maybe He answers maybe He doesn’t. However they found out that when you seek answers from technology, the internet, an immediate answer is provided. Searching the internet doesn’t make one smarter it just gives you access to what someone else knows. They challenge us to imagine if technology wasn’t around. Would we continue to worship God? Would we be able to seek God with a Bible, journal and pencil? Technology changes things and if you’re not careful you will begin to entertain yourself until you are in a deep sleep and even death. There are different uses for technology they encourage us to use it for God’s glory.

  • Living a Regret Free Life
Greg and Pat discuss having a regret free life. They continue to share about a time years ago when Greg and Pat were visiting together. They happened to see on television that an airliner crashed in Canada. Greg asked Pat if he was on the plane and died would you have any regrets? At that moment Pat said he would have a lot of regrets. Many today are disconnected, they are staying up all hours of the night watching TV and surfing the internet and before you know it 45 minutes was spent on nothing. This is a common occurrence for many people today they are totally asleep. They further discuss how the country of Belgium has overwhelmingly passed a bill to allow children to be euthanized in the country already allows euthanasia for adults according to CBN News. They continue to ask if you were euthanized would have any regrets? Many think they can predict the end of their life. Satan is working overtime to end mankind. Have your raised your children? Are we parenting them and offering them help? The moment you die you will stand before God. The question is will you have regrets? Give your life to God and live a regret free life.

  • We Live by The Breath of God; It’s Our Fuel
In this abiding moment Pat and Greg discuss how we live by the breath of God and how his breath, his voice is our fuel. Pat shares how he has been reading the book The Torch and the Sword written by Rick Joyner. In this prophetic book in which Rick shares truth he received through dreams and visions. “The Lord makes His messengers flames of fire. You cannot walk with God, or fulfill His purpose for you on this earth, unless you keep this fire burning in your heart. Lukewarmness is your deadly enemy. You must not let the fire wane by drifting from His presence. This fire which now burns in your heart must be given fuel each day. Its fuel is the atmosphere of heaven, which is the breath of God. What He breathes upon lives, and what He does not breathe upon dies. Seek this life and pursue it. If you do, you will leave a trail of life where the River of Life will break out and flow. If you walk as you are called, you will help restore true life to the earth.” They continue to discuss how Jesus alone is their source. Abiding and spending time with the Lord is not something we check off but rather what we desire and willingly choose to do. It’s all about God breathing upon your life. You can’t confuse working for God and spending time with God. The way you spell love is T-I-M-E. If we truly love God we will not only spend time with him but we will surrender and give our lives to him.
