  • Something Good is Happening in EGYPT; 1400 Kids go into the Desert to Pray
John, Pat and Greg discuss how everything we see is not always what is happening and how there are things happening behind the scenes. They continue to discuss how there has been many things happening in the Middle East in the last couple of years especially with the Arab Spring. Egypt in particular saw their leadership overthrown and saw the Muslim Brotherhood rise to power with President Morsi being elected. And then again on the anniversary of Morsi taking over the leadership of Egypt, some of the largest protest the world had ever seen was taking place in Egypt when millions took to the streets demanding his removal. Since then a new government is in place but there is something else that is happening in Egypt, Egyptian Christians are praying. According to CBN “More than 1,400 children gathered in the Egyptian desert recently asking God to change them and their nation.” The hope is in the young people crying out to God. Something good is happening in Egypt, continue to pray.

  • Find out Who’s Behind the Door
Greg, John and Pat discuss a scenario in which the listener is in an imaginary room. At first this room is just closed in where there is no place to run. No hope of ever getting out. Then before you know it in one wall in the room a door has been created. You find out that God is on the other side of the door. Although you are all alone you think about, what is it going to cost to open the door? At one point you even begin to hear a knocking at the door. Sure the door could have been blown open from the other side but God wants us to respond to his knocking and allow us to open the door of our hearts. He wants us to go from a place of bondage and hopelessness to freedom and joy but we must open the door of our hearts to him.

  • The Kingdom of God Seed Time and Harvest
Greg, John, and Pat discuss that Kingdom of God that it involves Seed Time and Harvest Time. They share how many in the body of Christ want to be blessed financially but don’t tithe “sow” into the kingdom. They share how people want friends but don’t sow in the lives of others in order to reap friendship. One of the laws of the Kingdom of God involves Seed time and Harvest time. No seed no harvest. The truth is that what we plant “sow” does produce that’s why it is very important to repent because in God’s mercy he chooses either to stop bad seeds from harvesting or either give us grace to endure the harvest that was produced in our lives. Galatians 6:7-8 says “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” America is the Church’s harvest; it’s our harvest for what we did or did not do.

  • Can America Come Back from her Sick Bed
Greg, John, and Pat discuss the condition of America. God loves all men and wishes that none would perish. There are some that are preaching an American gospel lifting America over the kingdom of God the reality is that America is the byproduct of the Kingdom of God. It is God and country in that order. America has major tumors and she is suffering greatly as she lies on her sick bed. She is malnourished; she has some destructive habits and is under attack. What made her once strong has been removed; prayer in schools, the Ten Commandments from court rooms and the list goes on. They continue to discuss the kindness and sternness of God sharing that how we perceive who God is and His character makes all the difference. God is loving, compassionate, merciful and patient with us as well as having the ability to be stern with us when needed. That is the tension in which we live when we walk with God. Although 2 Peter tells us, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” They continue to challenge us to pray for America and to speak life back into her again. There is still time for her to get off of her sick bed and rise if the church repents.

  • Israelis says Shame on America
John, Greg, and Pat share how Israelis are saying shame on America. According to CBN “The United States announced the resumption of Israeli-Palestinian talks Sunday after years of stalemate. But the new step has already come with a high price for Israel, with the Jewish state giving in to American pressure to release 104 Palestinian prisoners convicted of killing Israelis.” This has been done just so the Palestinians will come to the table and discuss peace with Israel. Israel continues to make huge concessions to avoid war but instead work towards peace. They continue to share that if Israel is pushed to give up Jerusalem we will all suffer. On several occasions when policies of the United States effect Israel, especially regarding giving up the land, we in the United States experience the ramifications. They encourage us to remain faithful to pray for Israel.

  • Greg’s Mariana Adventure; Bisquits, Chicken, and the lost Planner
Greg, John, and Pat discuss Greg’s Mariana adventure. They discuss how Greg was in Mariana celebrating Pastor Jack and Shellie Hollis’ 50th wedding anniversary. He shares how he went through the entire day from meeting to meeting without a very important item, his planner. He thought he secured it well only to discover his planner had been missing most of the day. As he was getting a late snack of chicken wings and biscuits it dawned on him that his planner had been missing all day. He shares what he felt like as he was considering what had happened. He back tracked his steps, asked people had they found it or had it been turned in by anyone and every possible lead ended with no planner. Greg prayed and believed God would bring the planner back to him. He continues to share that as he and his wife were driving at night searching for his planner they both at the same time spotted the planner on the side of the rode completely untouched, safe and sound. They continue to share how he could have given up and faced the reality that his planner was gone but instead he prayed stuck with it and God led him straight to it. No matter what you are facing small or big; no matter what you have lost they encourage us to have faith and trust God to bring it back.

  • Just a Mustard Seed of Faith is all you need
John, Pat and Chris discuss how all you need is just a mustard size seed of faith. Jesus describes the kingdom of God much like a mustard seed; very small in the beginning but when planted in the ground it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants. Faith is like a mustard seed, it has enormous potential to grow and do big things but it only works when it is planted in the ground. Faith works when faith is planted and faith is planted when action is taken. When the disciples asked Jesus to increase their faith Jesus didn’t say sure no problem but instead told them that if they have faith a small as mustard they can tell a mountain to move from one place and go to another Matthew 17:20. The emphasis is not on how much faith you have but rather the exercise of the faith that you do have.

  • Going into the Darkness with the LIGHT
John, Pat and Chris discuss how important it is to go into the darkness with the light of the gospel. They discuss a couple from Georgia who went to the drug infested slums of Brazil to share the love of Jesus to a people. CBN reports that American missionary Eric Reese spends his days in the poverty and violence that is there. By doing so, he's bringing light to one of the darkest slums of Rio de Janeiro. "I see that every person here is a creation of God. And that when Christ went to the cross, He went to the cross for these people too," Reese said.” They continued to discuss how Eric said that it was not about him or his comfort. What would happen if the church realized that it wasn’t about them but about Jesus and other people? What would happen if the church would truly appreciate all the Lord has done for them and reach out to others who do not know Him? Jesus said those who have been forgiven much love much. When we are truly walking in love we are looking to do for others. They continue to discuss why they believe America has lasted for so long and concluded maybe it’s because of all the missionaries that have been sent from America all over the world. Christians need to be in all areas of darkness shedding the light of the gospel while we have time left.

  • Living in your Enemies Crosshairs
John, Pat and Chris imagined what it would be like to live with a constant awareness and understanding that you are living under a perpetual threat from the enemy. They discuss what it would be like to be in public gatherings, parks, and outdoor events with the constant awareness of your vulnerability in the face of your enemy and the damage that can be done to you, your family, and fellow man. This is exactly what Israelis face every day from Islamists who hate them with a passion, to the point they are willing to lose their own lives to take theirs. They continue to discuss a recent interview by CBN with the author of the book Saturday People, Sunday People which chronicles the Islamist assault on Jews “Saturday People” because they worship on Saturday and Christians “Sunday People” because they worship on Sunday. They continue to discuss how America and in particular Christians cannot become desensitized to the Jewish plight because we as Christians are next. They also shared how this is a perfect picture of what the devil does every day and how his mission statement is to kill, steal, and destroy; John 10:10. The church must be united if we are going to stand as one against the attacks of the devil waged against Christians and Jews.

  • Live Life like You are Dying! Find out how Zach is doing just that
John, Pat and Chris discuss a recent song that was written by an 18 year old who was dying of bone cancer, Zach Sobiech. This song has now been viewed over 7.7 million times and according to Charisma News at one point reached No. 1 on iTunes music charts. They continue to discuss how there are few things in life more sobering than having received a death sentence. Instead of complaining and staying in a depressed state of mind Zach took hold of the little life he had left and did something with it. He wrote a song that has touched many around the world. He didn’t give up but invested his gift and lived in the moment. They challenge us to stop focusing our attention down the road as if “down the road” is promised to us. They challenge us to live in the moment. Many people fear many things but what should be of a great concern to us is to live a life of insignificance before God. Your life is God’s gift to you but what you do with your life is your gift to God. They remind us to have faith in God; it’s not over just begin again and do all you can, for all that you can, in the time you have. Give it all to Jesus and leave nothing on the field of life.
