John and Pat discuss the importance of having faith to take the land. God was bringing the Israelites to a place flowing with milk and honey a land that was set apart for them by God. However just because God is has something for you doen't mean it is going to be wrapped up with colorful paper and her it is. God requires that you step out in faith and grasp what he has prepared for you. Moses in Number 13 sent a delegatgion to go spy out the land and to report what they saw. Most came back giving a fearful report with the exception of Caleb who said we can take the Land. Where God is taking you requires faith and bold steps. It's not about having blind faith but rather faith that is secure. Faith in God's word, on what has said, currently saying , and what He has done. Let a faith filled spirit arise and take the land.

John, Pat, and Chris discuss the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer pastor, prophet and Spy when Hitler was in power. During the time that much of the church was deceived by Hitler; Bonhoeffer was not deceived. Abiding with God daily is so important to not only be in communion with God but to walk in the light of truth. Bonhoeffer eventually came to the U. S. to study in NY and found that Jesus, the Cross, and sin were not preached in many church's in NYC much of what is happening today over 80 years laters. However, he did fine a black church in harlem that did and he became a part of what God was doing there and seeing first hand how Americans were treating people of color. It would only be a few short years before he would find out himself how Hitler would be treating Jews in his country. Bonhoeffer fought for the truth of God in all the church's in Germany sharing with his fellow countrymen and believers that the church is where jew and German can come together but even most Christians at the time were too deceived to do this. Boenhoffer new that he was going to be drafted but he also new that he would not be doing Jewish people no harm so he boarded the last ship leaving Germany and arrived in the U. S. He only spent 26 days in the U.S. before being called to go back into the fires of hell in Germany to help bring Hitler down. He became a double agent and worked with others over a ten year period of time to divise a plan to kill Hitler. The assignation attempt failed and it didn't take long for Bonhoeffer to be found out. He was sent to a Gastopo prison and was ordered by Hitler to be hung. Hilter committed suicide just three weeks later. They encourage to remember Bonhoeffer he did not look at himself and say what can I do he realized that if God was with him there was a majority. God is not looking for our ability or inability he is looking for your availability. Bonhoeffer opened himself up for God's grace to be on his life when the church was deceived he was willing to confront evil no matter the cost.

John, Pat and Chris speak about the rapid acceleration of technology that is occurring and how we are living in a time that we are seeing come to pass that many told us as children we would see. One such technology is the Oculus Rift goggles that allow you to experience what look like real life scenes and occurrences that are digitally created and are virtual. They discuss the reaction of a 90 year old grandmother's response to what she saw when she looked through the goggles. She is seen and heard saying, are these just my eyes or are these leaves actually blowing? Listening and watching her reactions to what she is seeing leave the viewer wondering how amazingly real what she must be seeing. They continue to discuss that although much of technology can be useful there are many that are looking for ways to escape from reality and live in a make pretend virtual world. They encourage us not to check out of reality no matter how bad it may be but to seek and cry out to God. Real Life with God is better than a Virtual World without HIM.

John and Pat discuss how we need to have plans that start in the heart of God not plans that start in the heads of men. The bible tells us in Proverbs 19:21 "Many are the plans in a person's heart but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." It's not just important to have a plan but more importantly to have God's plan. All of man's plans that revolve around man with out regard of God lead only to confusion, scattering and dismantling. It is so important to seek God's will when making plans and to be pure in our motives for what we are doing. In Genesis 11:3 the people at the time thought to themselves and developed their own plan to build a city and to build a tower to make a name for themselves and so they would not be scattered over the face of the whole earth. Plans that are rooted in pride, self exalation and self perseverance never end well. So many times people are praying for God to bless their plans instead of asking God what His plan for their lives is. The very thing they wanted to avoid actually happened, the tower was not completed and they were all scattered. They encourage us to seek the plans in God's heart and not pursue plans that are born in the heads of men.

John, Pat and Chris discuss how for the third time in recent history the ground has opened up yet again. They remind us of the first occurrence not to long ago when a hole opened up 100 feet beneath someone's bed and the man was never seen again. The only visible thing was his mattress. The second time occurred when up north several men were playing golf in a golf course and the earth opened up right below one of those men resulting in only him falling in the whole and by the grace of God he was rescued. Now they shared of this now known occurrence that occurred in Chicago where the earth opened up and three cars fell into the hole. They share with us that misfortune does follow some people but would be wise not to focus our eyes on them but to evaluate our life. At any moment we can go from what we thought we were standing on what looked secure only to experience a shaking and opening that would be devastating and cost us everything. The real question is, are we right with God before the opening and shaking because you may never get another chance?
